Effigy Of Sen. Graham Hung In Public
WYFF ^ | 07/23/2010 | Sean Muserallo

A mannequin with a picture of Sen. Lindsey Graham's face taped to the head was hung in effigy in downtown Greenville by a protester.

Randall Terry, a nationally-known pro-life supporter from Washington, D.C., came with three supporters to tape a portion of his television show called, "Randall Terry: The Voice of the Resistance."

The anti-abortion activist filmed two skits while in downtown. One of them involved Randall's employee constructing gallows to hang the mannequin with Graham's picture on it.

The other skit involved a stick and a pinata. The workers hit the pinata, which had a picture of Graham on it, until plastic babies fell out of it.

Terry said he was upset with Graham's decision to confirm President Barack Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan. Terry said he'd gone to other states and staged similar protests in front of offices of Republican senators who voted in favor of Kagan's nomination.

A few on-lookers expressed their disgust with Terry's performance.

Greenville police officers stood on watch nearby. The cameraman working for Terry's show started to raise his voice with a protester and an officer stepped in and ended the conflict before it escalated.

Please don’t put Graham and hung in the same sentence.

More than a little over the top, if you ask me.

It used to be protected speech when the liberals did it.

Its hard to dislike Lyndsey Graham when the person complaining about him is Randall Terry.

Its hard to figure out which one I dislike more.

Well, seems they were allowed to proceed (with cops watching, etc.). It’s their right, of course....but still over the top.

It’s not a mannequin. A mannequin is a female. If it’s male, it’s a dummy, just like Graham.

It’s over the top... but we need some of that.

Not too much, but some.

The props were poorly constructed. Pretty low grade street theater.

I'd give it an F.

His reasoning, if factual, of “ she has a good heart” but I don’t agree with her policies, but will vote for her should result in his being removed from office.....

RINO = Lindsey

No, mannequin would be correct for Graham.

“No, mannequin would be correct for Graham. “

I yield to your superior insights and wisdom. Graham is certainly missing some male body parts.

There is a video of a Tea party speaker calling on Lindsey to “come out” and admit that he’s a homo.
