Shirley Sherrod Falsely Sainted by Propagandist Media

As anybody who has watched the firestorm of news surrounding Shirley Sherrod knows, the media have found a new post-racial saint. With each reporter as eager as the last to fawn all over Sherrod, it’s become a circus.

The concocted narrative is as follows: Sherrod was unfairly taken out of context while trying to spread an inspiring story of getting past her own racial bias in order to help a white man keep his farm. According to the propagandists (aka, “reporters”), Sherrod is an over-comer and has been redeemed. According to those same propagandists, Sherrod is the kind of person who should be guiding our national conversation on race.

While Sherrod is the new kid on the block, she isn’t the media’s first post-racial saint. That title was first bestowed upon Barack Obama.

Finally, someone gets it.
The full speech did not show redemption and neither has Shirley.
She’s been everywhere making angry racial statements against FOX News and Breitbart ,
in addition to the ones she made against Republicans and those opposed to Obamacare in her full speech.
FOX News , along with the rest of the media , has also been falling all over themselves to worship at the feet of Saint Shirley.
Apparently, FOX News isn’t troubled by Shirley’s remarks..this week..
that she would never appear on FOX because the network
is “ biased “ and would lie about what she said.
And FOX News is also racist.
“ they ( FOX News ) would love to take us back to… where black people were looking down,
not looking white folks in the face,
not being able to compete for a job out there
and not be a whole person.”
“When you look at their reporting, this is just another way of seeing that they are (racist).
She refuses to lower herself to appear on FOX-

And she’s considering suing FOX along with Breitbart and the federal government.

Shirley Sherrod either can't count or has a poor memory--we had 12 years of a President Bush in the White House.

The teachable moment from this whole episode, at least for USDA-not-approved melanin-challenged Americans, should be that the ranks of the bureaucracy are full of people like Shirley Sherrod who believe that it's payback time and that they are entitled to treat people differently on account of race.

Of course the existence of affirmative action programs already told us that, but it's useful to be reminded.

What I dont get; and I was traveling much of this week; is that context or not, she admitted to discriminating against a farmer seeking federal assistance because of the race of the farmer. Now that she was confessing to this firing offense while saying she later learned her racial discrimination was a bad thing is good for her personal growth. Still while operating the levers of government power discriminated on the basis of race. Seems pretty clear she belong away from the levers of government based on the values of today.
