Iran Says It Has 100 Vessels For Each US Warship

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - A former naval chief in Iran's Revolutionary Guard says his country has set aside 100 military vessels to confront each U.S. warship that poses a threat.
Gen. Morteza Saffari is quoted by the conservative weekly Panjereh Saturday as saying that troops aboard U.S. warships are "morsels" for Iran to target in the event of any American threat against Iran.

SeaRam is a different system than what's deployed in the fleet right now. It marries the RIM-116 with a CIWS tracking system. It might be on a couple of platforms but as far as I know it is still be tested.

...but as far as I know it is still being tested..You're right! The combined systems have not been deployed yet. I have also read that there is talk of marrying the CIWS to the free electron laser once they get the laser strength to acceptable levels.
