U.S. Sen. John Kerry, the owner of a new, super-luxe 76-foot yacht, is not dodging a six-figure Massachusetts tax bill by docking the Isabel in Rhode Island and will pony up to the state if any taxes are owed, a spokesman for the alleged tax-skipping skipper said.
And it appears the senior senator may be on the hook for more than $500,000 in state and local taxes because Kerry tied his toney tub up in Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket waters within six months of buying her.

The Communist Party Chiefs are all the same: “Taxes for thee but not for me.”
“Can I get me a dockin’ license here?”
Call for the big man upstairs
I want you bring Lurch home
I wanna see Lurch go home
Well I feel so angry every time I see him
Why can’t you carry the traitor home?
I wonder if Chunck Rangel or Tim Geithner tried this tatic.
John Kerry's WIFE will pay if taxes are owed
That's a pretty clever response. He knows the taxes aren't owed because he knows he dodged them legally. He has the means to move his assets around like that for maximum effect. The firefighter, cop, plumber, carpenter who keeps a boat for weekend/seasonal use can't do that. The little guy is the one who has to pony up. That pompous effeminate leach really makes me want to hurl.
MA Gov Deval Patrick is set to sign a bill changing the name of several state colleges to state universities. It’ll cost some bucks for all the signage changes, etc.; ah, but half a million from Lurch’s bank account should help!
“To Republicans every day is July 4th. To Democrats every
day is April 15th”—Reagan...ah, but when it comes to taxes, libs want YOU to pay YOURS but THEY won’t pay THEIRS! See:
Kerry, John Effin’.
If you visit any body of water were rich liberals dock their yachts, you will notice they are always registered in tax free states. They also scam the taxes by listing them as coast guard vessels.
It’s good when you pay more taxes, but not them.
As Howie Carr has pointed out, “He made his money the old fashioned way: he married it.” (Even Kerry’s first wife,
the late Julia Thorne, had some bucks.) And: “He’s living off his second wife’s first husband’s trust fund.”

“Let’s see, do I stay in Cleveland, or go to New York,
or Miami. Hmmm....”
Just sell some more ketchup—that’ll cover it. Or better yet, just wave those 98 Purple Heart Medals around at the MA tax office and they’ll just faint in awe.
Every time I hear about Kerry and his Purple Heart collection I'm reminded of the episode of M*A*S*H where Frank Burns is awarded a Purple Heart for taking a "shell fragment". Turns out it was an egg shell fragment from a boiled egg in the mess hall.
Johnnny K., you can easily ketchup on your taxes. I think I hear a tiny violin playing...
I don’t like John Kerry or his politics but mooring a boat 7 miles off the coast of Massachusets seems like an act of convenience.
I mean the only way to get to his boat is to take ... well, another boat or a puddle jumping airplane.
Besides, someone else is collecting the taxes.
What next? Start taxing people for having a second home in Florida or the Bahamas?
It really is no one’s business where you put your stuff and for the state to come in and divine the thoughts of another human or in this instance “a tax entity” is just beyond the pale.
That's a lot of ketchup.
