I am very curious to know just who it is that old Rangel crossed. He’s been getting away with his corruption for years, and they are just now coming after him. There has got to be a big backstory here.
My thoughts exactly!! He must have really pissed the Queen off, the Dems “NEVER” boot thier own. Issa must have something really ugly and ready to drop if the Dems are going to punt Rangle. The Dems probably asked him to go quietly but he won’t.

He’s being sacrificed. A sop to the wolves outside the door of Congress. I suppose they think that if they bust (aka sacrifice) the occasional politician, then it’ll prevent the revolution threatening their livelihoods. While it might not be, it could be a racial thing too. Sacrifice him for the Sherrod incident and for what else Breitbert might be ready to throw out there to the PO’d constituency.
If the Dems need to, they’ll sacrifice Obama to keep from being completely obliterated. Don’t think for five minutes that there isn’t inter-warfare within the Dems going on. At the moment, if Obama were impeached, there would still be some strife, but if the Dems sweetened his being tossed out with the promise of economic recovery and a non-locus for racist scum, then they will toss Obama out and instate Biden, according to succession rules.
