.- Next month, former Judge Fernando Ferrin Calamita will be forced to pay the Spanish government $127,000 for denying a lesbian couples request to adopt a girl.
Ferrin, who is married and a father of seven, was a judge in the Spanish towns of Huesca, Bejar and Chiclana. He also served as a family court judge in Murcia from 1999 to 2008, when the Supreme Court suspended him for two years and three months for ruling against the controversial adoption.
In Ferrins ruling he ordered a report be obtained from experts on the consequences the adoption would have on the girls development.
In December of 2009, the Supreme Court suspended him, fined him $919 and ordered him to pay the couple $7,661.
According to the organization, Professionals for Ethics, the powerful Spanish homosexual lobby, with the consent or passivity of all the institutions, decided to punish Ferrin and make him an example. He was accused of maliciously delaying the adoption request and subjected to pressure and blackmail.
This process has had as its purpose the expulsion of Fernando Ferrin from the bench, after a career as a just judge with an impeccable record But this is not all. Now the government is demanding he repay his salary of $127,000 which he received while on temporary suspension.
Although Ferrin plans to appeal this ruling, he must pay the fine before August 5, the organization stated.
Are they the hot lesbians? Or the Kagan/Napolitano (not hot) lesbians?
Wow! That’s a lot of money.
Oy vey.
"Hot lesbians" are about as real as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.
persuasion >> coercion >> force >> the end of the republic.
God bless you, Juez Ferrin Calamita.

If they all start for it at the same time who gets the $100 bill?
I’ve seen that movie.
But,on second thought,I suspect that Hussein's Department of Just Us would have the judge on a plane to Madrid within an hour of any extradition request.
Good for him. Looking out for a kid’s best interest.
Sent to the embassy:
I am writing to urge you to reconsider your actions against Judge Calamita.
In apparently delaying the adoption of a child by two lesbians, the Judge was acting in the best interest of an innocent child.
Children raised without fathers do worse on every objective scale - delinquency, drug abuse, early sexual behavior, anti-social behavior, school attendance, etc.
Children in need of adoption should be placed with a mother AND a father. Both are essential to the development of a healthy human being.
A good judge considers the best interest of the innocent. Judge Calamita is a good judge and is an asset to Spain. He should not have been punished.
Thank you for providing the contact info.
In an American analogy, this would be like the USSC having power not just to overturn lower court decisions but to impeach the judges who made them.

Dear Embassy Staff,
I have recently become aware that Judge Fernando Ferrin Calamita, of the towns of Huesca, Bejar and Chiclana in Spain, will be forced to pay the Spanish government $127,000 for denying a lesbian couples request to adopt a girl.
I am convinced that Judge Ferrin Calamita was acting in the best traditions of Spanish Law and in the best interests of the child. In any case, I do not believe a man should be punished for acting in good conscience, without violence or fraud, even if he be a judge. He might have been recused from the case; he ought not to be punished.
I realize that you, the honorable Spanish diplomats in Washington, DC, cannot intervene to reverse this terrible injustice. However, I would like to support Judge Ferrin Calamita.
Would you please contact me and advise me on how I may contact Judge Ferrin Calamita to offer my support>
Sincerely and respectfully,
[signed]

Dear Embassy Staff,
Interesting.but given that Spain's current government is about as left wing as any you'll find in the Western world you'd be unwise,IMO,to hold your breath awaiting a response.
