Tropical Depression Three is going to become Tropical Storm Bonnie sometime today. And guess where it's headed.
BP has already halted relief well drilling and evacuated all non-critical vessels from the area -- and may soon evacuate everyone from the area. The well is capped for now and hopefully won't pop open or crack any more leaks during the delay.
Here's a map of where the storm's heading from NOAA (with the oil spill dropped on top):

All the Benzene and Corexit will combine into a flammable firestorm, consuming the gulf states.
Weren’t we told the other day that clean-up vessels were having a hard time finding oil?
I don’t know, but I hope the cap doesn’t get dislodged somehow.
Also, that is a very dangerous track for New Orleans and surrounding parishes. Hopefully this storm remains weak and does not go slightly west of the mouth of the miss..
We add lots of oregano and basil and call it salad dressing.
Seriously, I think it will make “acid” rain look tame.
nothing
Yeah Drudge has a story about that.
Just what Louisiana needs . . . . Sheesh.
Amen
Whew!
Thanks, I was afraid it could be serious.
Dude! Think of the visuals.
I don’t know what will happen to the oil slick but I know the news media will be salivating at the prospect of tragedy on top of tragedy. There little black hearts are racing with excitement at the prospect.
If boats cannot even find any oil, this is all a trumped up crisis by the Obanga admin. What were they doing that they didn’t want us to notice, while we were all focused on the spill???????
‘this is all a trumped up crisis by the Obanga admin”
ahh so the real time video of the oil gushing into the gulf was a bad photoshop?
The cap is a mile below the surface of the water. Even if Katrina II blew right over the top of it there would be no effect whatsoever. Even a few hundred feet below the surface, the water would be perfectly calm no matter how much chaos was breaking out on the surface. This is why submarines are unaffected by storms.
It looks like God is pushing the flush lever to me! ;-)
