Arpaio opens ‘Section 1070’ at Tent City for violators of new law

PHOENIX - Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has opened a new section of Tent City in time for its 17th anniversary.
The new section is called Section 1070 to house violators of the new illegal immigration law, SB 1070.
Section 1070 is able to hold up to 100 inmates, but reportedly has room to grow if needed.
Sheriff Arpaio said he wants to assure citizens of Maricopa County that there will always be room for violators of the new law.

I saw him on TV. He was walking through a tent when a prisoner sneered and gave him a dirty look, so Joe asked him his name. When the guy didn’t want to give it, he sent him to the administrative segregation tent.

You go Sheriff Joe!!!!! What a guy! I met some deputies of his on a cruise a couple of years ago — they were Americans of Mexican descent. They LOVE THE GUY!!!!!!
Their families came here the legal way and they are very intolerant of those who sneak in.
