Sarah Palin: An Intolerable Mistake on Hallowed Ground
Facebook ^ | July 20, 2010 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 07/20/2010 9:24:18 PM PDT by Bigtigermike

Earlier today, Mayor Bloomberg responded to my comments about the planned mosque at Ground Zero by suggesting that a decision not to allow the building of a mosque at that sacred place would somehow violate American principles of tolerance and openness.

No one is disputing that America stands for – and should stand for – religious tolerance. It is a foundation of our republic. This is not an issue of religious tolerance but of common moral sense. To build a mosque at Ground Zero is a stab in the heart of the families of the innocent victims of those horrific attacks. Just days after 9/11, the spiritual leader of the organization that wants to build the mosque, Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, suggested that blame be placed on the innocents when he stated that the “United States’ policies were an accessory to the crime that happened” and that “in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA.” Rauf refuses to recognize that Hamas is a terrorist organization dedicated to the destruction of our ally, Israel, and refuses to provide information about the sources of funding for the $100 million mosque. Rauf also plays a key role in a group behind the flotilla designed to provoke Israel in its justifiable blockade of Gaza. These are just a few of the points Americans are realizing as New York considers the proposed mosque just a stone’s throw away from 9/11’s sacred ground.

I agree with the sister of one of the 9/11 victims (and a New York resident) who said: “This is a place which is 600 feet from where almost 3,000 people were torn to pieces by Islamic extremists. I think that it is incredibly insensitive and audacious really for them to build a mosque, not only on that site, but to do it specifically so that they could be in proximity to where that atrocity happened.”

Many Americans, myself included, feel it would be an intolerable and tragic mistake to allow such a project sponsored by such an individual to go forward on such hallowed ground. This is nothing close to “religious intolerance,” it’s just common decency.

” I just got back from a funeral”. “Who died?” “My old friend America”. “Really, what did she die from?” “ Tolerance and Political Correctness!”

Sarah took the words right out of my mouth. Excellent facebook post. Right on the money, every word. Bloomberg should be ashamed of himself but since he has no damn decency he probably won’t even care. He will continue sucking up to the muslim extremists. People like Bloomberg never learn

Like the sign on the back of the pickup says...

“Everything I Need to Know about Islam,
I learned on 9/11”

Well, that, and the books I’ve read about the Koran and its contents. According to which, there is no middle ground. You’re either a Muslim, or an infidel.

And infidels are only allowed to live to serve Muslims.

This is not a religion, it’s a cult. There is no respect for non-believers. Frankly, I’ve more respect for the Manson family.

You never know when buildings in that area will be destroyed by a hijacked airplane. It would be a shame for such to happen to this mosque.

It amazes me on just how far New Yorkers will go before they wake up. They have to be the most stupidest people in the USA , well except for the citizens of Washington DC. They keep voting in these Marxist Socialist that are taking their state right into oblivion. They have gone to pure socialism and now all the rich people are moving out of their state and where will their money come from then. The lower class is all that will be left and they will be on the dole. Yet, they still vote in Socialists like Bloomberg. Folks, it's Atlas Shrugged and it's coming fast.

Bloomberg is a typical stuffed shirt rino. I pay about as much attention to him as I do to Algore. Palin is right!

I’m not saying that I hope for another attack from Islam but if it does happen, New York is where it will do American the most good. Maybe if it takes out a million instead of 3000 those idiots may wake up to reality. One can only hope.

amazing (nauseating) video of Bloomberg’s flack who viciously attacked Sarah Palin over the Ground Zero mosque issue:

we need to make a-clowns like this one “poster children” for what is wrong with America — her load of b.s. won’t sell outside of socialist havens:

“TakeBackAmerica2007” -— this Andrea Batista-Schlesinger is a rabid, hateful, babbling leftist:

“offering legal status to 12 million undocumented immigrants in this country”

repeated hateful jabs at “the right”

“tort reform is funded by the very industries which don’t want to be held accountable..... let the jury decide”

mocking “border control, border control, border control”

mocking “tax relief and the language they have offered us”

“the mid-terms were not only about the War, they were about..... anxiousness for govt. to do more”

...”hold true to our progressive ideologies....”

It is a common trait for America to give the “benefit of the doubt” too easily, to be too tolerant. What the enemies of America, external or internal, have always failed to understand is that once their real intent and action is too clear to ignore our tolerance turns to a strong resolve to take the fight to those that wish America harm.

I still think she was too gracious to that pandering idiot Bloomberg, but I’ve read her statement three times now, and it’s superb, patriotic and very moving.

I love her. Not as a politician, just as one American appreciating another American for speaking out because she can - she has the national stage. I ‘love” Rush for the same reasons. He also speaks for many of us.

Sarah is a very gracious person. She isn’t going to call Bloomberg an idiot. She has a way of making her point in a very gracious manner. She just made Bloomberg look like an even bigger fool then he already is. Bloomberg’s associates trashed her on twitter and what does Sarah do, come back with a facebook post like this..absolutely brilliant.
