Paying a pervert, a lesbian, $35,000 for hurt feelings is OUTRAGEOUS.

"I'm so glad this is all over. I won't ever get my prom back, but....."

I suspect she'd take the $35K over the prom any day.

In the legal profession we call this a nusience settlement. It would have cost more than $35,000 in legal fees to successfully defend the suit. They got out the cheapest way possible.

Just another way to take public money and put it in the hands of the ACLU to go cause more trouble.

This school district sought to protect the "privacy" of the other students ~ very simple matter. If that same lesbian had attended in proper dress with 5 other dateless girls there'd been no problem. Instead, she wanted a "partner".

So can someone bring their bi-sexual, polygamist girl and boyfriend next time for a 3-way prom date?

Stop having extracurricular activities, if that is the price for not giving into sexual perversion. Make a no romantic or sexual contact rule for everyone while on school property.

There is somebody I would never hire nor work with.

The first disagreement will be fought in court.

Ridiculous.....When will the courts get this right...You do not have permission to deliberately disrupt a prom.

And when she marries a male and has two natural born kids, will she have to give the money back with interest?

“...told by Itawamba Agricultural High School officials she and her girlfriend would be ejected if they attended the school-sponsored prom.”

If this is true, the school was wrong. Had they ignored the ‘problem’, there would be no problem, and the taxpayers wouldn’t be out $35K.
