NBC reports that Judiciary committeeman Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) will vote to send the nomination of Elena Kagan to the floor of the U.S. Senate.
I think you are saying that Mitch McC would like to vote like Lindsey does but lacks the spine to do so.
Twinkle twinkle little twinkie back stabber. I predict you will be coming out next year.
I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you!
Maybe in January if he’s the key to a majority.
I would like Senator Graham to explain, to my face, how he could vote to confirm a nominee who was chosen for her ideological bent and not for her accomplishments or qualifications. When thousands of judges and attorneys exist who have accomplished great things in their professions are passed over for someone with no judicial experience and a lack of adherence to the solemn and humble subservience to the nation’s Constitution and laws, it should be easy and essential to reject that person’s nomination unequivocally.
Just what possible justification could Graham have for supporting such a nominee? What would he say to other more qualified people? What does he say to the American people? What does he believe is the responsibility of his position? And what does he think would happen if he nominated someone like this?
Is his decision rule “Be nice to people who are out to damage the nation?”
“some kind of statesman a la Edmund Burke”
The closest they come to Burke is that they believe that they should vote their own interest instead of what the rabble that elected them want. Burke believed in voting in the peoples interest.
Spine and realism cause him to use other methods such as acting the fool.
Grahamnesty is part of the “ruling class” Rush spoke of.
He is a disease in the body of America. He will help destroy this nation.
You have told more truth than the American people can bear.
Destroy the country with the clapping of the old Thurmond supporters!

BTTT
In other words, Grahamnsty is the only GOP senator who violated his oath.
Nonsense. If that were true, he would not have been reelected.
The 'hard core left' and the 'hard core right' have become minorities incapable of being dominant in elections. The independents, whom you call the majority, are the king makers. They are not necessarily 'fat, drunk, stupid etc. Rather, this group has no solid philosophical affiliation other than 'what's in it for me.'
We need to vote the RINOs out!
