You are way behind the power curve on this story. There have been multiple posts on this and lots of wild speculation. Today comes the news that the hosting site owner pulled the plug after receiving information from the FBI that some of the hosted blogs were being used by Al Qaeda to support the propaganda rag Inspire and to provide hit lists, bomb making instructions, recruiting info, etc.

Updates this morning indicate the govt didn’t shut down the server. Burstnet did. The charge is that the server contained bomb making instructions and Al Qaeda communications.
This prepares the public to accept illegal seizures over things like criticizing this corrupt administration.
Wow, we are just like China. Without the international backbone.
