Six months have passed since Scott Brown shook the world with his upset victory over Martha Coakley in the Massachusetts special election to fill the people's seat once held by Ted Kennedy.
Brown was elected to the United States Senate in no small part due to the energy and enthusiasm of Tea Party activists. In the intervening 180 days, the euphoria of sending a Republican Senator from Massachusetts to Capitol Hill has waned amongst Tea Party enthusiasts.
Some thought the election of Brown would spell the death knell of Obamacare. As the 41st Republican senator, he put Republicans in a position to filibuster. But along came reconciliation and Brown's presence ultimately proved to be a non-factor.

The response contained in that document is the only solution to this nonsense.

Find that fresh person that has our faith in the Constitution. The Scott Brown thing is this, Ted Kennedy is gone! The seat is cold and Scott Brown can’t be made comfortable. It is up to the people of that State to show displeasure with
his actions. We must not let the newly elected get complacent and believe that
THEY have the power. Vote incumbents out if they are useless. Grassroots groups can make the difference, but it is hard work.
I think at this point, the solution starts with the AZ lawsuit. If they fail, we have no solution.
Scott Brown is exactly what I figured he would be. And I contributed to his campaign.
Think about this, folks. Despite how bad things are across the country, how healthcare was infuriating people from coast to coast, and the enthusiasm gap between the parties, I’d like to remind you that Scott Brown could only beat his opponent by 4.5%.
Is he as conservative as I would like? Hell NO. But those expecting a DeMint or Sessions out of MA, are nuts. This is the best we were ever going to do from that state. Moreover, if you think we have problems now, consider if Coakley had won....we would have amnesty on the plate at the moment, on top of all the rest of it.(Not that it means they won’t try it anyway!)
I’m no fan of RINOs but from some states, that is all we’ll get. Just as the Dems have to deal with the fact that the only Dem they will get from certain states are Blue Dogs. Trust me, they howl as loudly as we do, over at HP, Daily Kook, and DU.
If Brown is good for nothing else, he’s useful to ensure a vote in case we win a majority in the Senate, allowing us to control committees and SUBPOENA POWER.
Hasn't our history always kind of been that way? Americans are schitzoid... One minute they scream for war, the next minute they're singing for peace. They say they want change but then they get frightened and want regulated stability. We can't stop voting ourselves pay raises whether it's so-called "free-health care" or mortgage deductions or social security COLAs or even tax cuts. And we fall for the the class envy card every time it's played. If it's not tax-evading greedy rich people we're beating up on it's the elitists in Washington who are sending us to hell in a hand-basket. It's kind of always been that way in our history though. But I have faith that in some way and in some form another morning in America will come along.
Electoral solutions will not solve our problems.

Everybody talks about rivers of blood and revolution and the like here at FR. I think 99% of the people posting that stuff haven’t even tried giving to candidates, working in primaries for the conservatives, or any of the non-violent things we can do in the electoral system to win. And by giving I’m not talking $20 once every 4 years for the poor, but something that actually takes some sacrifice. Try $1000.
And for the well off, forget the $1,000 and try $10,000 or $100,000.
Not kidding. If you are serious about it it’s time to stop playing patty cake while thinking in the back of your mind that revolution might happen, someday, at some indefinite point.
We can't allow that to happen. We must stay in their faces and hold them to their promises.
Yah, good to remind us that Brown replaced Ted Kennedy. Compare the two and it’s a victory.

Everyone needs to read this...
If a court rules that a state can't enforce existing federal law... um...wouldn't that include ALL federal laws? Where would it end?
