Electoral solutions will not solve our problems.

Everybody talks about rivers of blood and revolution and the like here at FR. I think 99% of the people posting that stuff haven’t even tried giving to candidates, working in primaries for the conservatives, or any of the non-violent things we can do in the electoral system to win. And by giving I’m not talking $20 once every 4 years for the poor, but something that actually takes some sacrifice. Try $1000.
And for the well off, forget the $1,000 and try $10,000 or $100,000.
Not kidding. If you are serious about it it’s time to stop playing patty cake while thinking in the back of your mind that revolution might happen, someday, at some indefinite point.
You have to consider that the whole electoral process is absolutley corrupted. November is not going to change anything.
I will still engage in the process, but I also know it really is not going to change anything.
Yes I have been involved and given money to candidates.
You need to point that thing towards the left... you have no idea of what we do and have done... will give... and have given... and to whom.

I prefer to put $1,000/month into guns and ammo.
Throwing money at the problem is a typical liberal solution. Sure, money is necessary, but you need a strong candidate with a message. If McCain spent the exact same amount as the chosen one, he still would have lost because he was a terrible candidate with no message.
