Without Leadership and a plan with the house, it will be worthless. Counting them chickens didnt help Reid and
Pelosi either.

Hammer on the narrative that they all voted to raise taxes with “health care reform;” what are they going to say, they didn’t know that it was all about? That they were lying about it to get it passed? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2554765/posts

that and five cents will get you a nickel, right? Let's keep raising the money and generate enthusiasm among the base to get out the vote in November. Until then we're no better than Biden as prognosticators.

Don’t worry libs: Snowe, Collins and Brown will be there to help defeat any nasty cuts/repeals of the Obama agenda.

I think every GOP candidate should run against Pelosi and Reid the way every Dem, including Obama, ran against Bush eventhough he wasn’t on the ballot. Dems act like they have been innocent bystanders, but they have been running congress since Jan 2007.

Even if the Republicans take a majority in the Senate, it would only be 51-49 (as stated in the article). Can you say Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe and Scott Brown? Not to mention McCain, Graham, etc. While Republicans would have a majority, conservatives would still be a decided minority.

Not bloody likely if the RNC (Really Not Competent) has anything to do with it.

I posted this a few day ago and I think it tells an important tale.

In Washington since:

Alexander - 2002
Barrasso - 2007
Bennett - 1992
Bond - 1986
Brown 2010
Brownback - 1994
Bunning - 1987
Burr - 1995
Chambliss - 1995
Coburn - 1995
Cochran - 1973
Collins - 1997
Corker - 2007
Cornyn - 2002
Crapo - 1993
DeMint - 1999
Ensign - 1995
Enzi - 1996
Graham - 1995
Grassley - 1974
Gregg - 1993
Hatch - 1977
Hutchinson - 1993
Inhofe - 1987
Isakson - 1999
Johanns - 2009
Kyl - 1987
Lemeiux - 2009
Lugar - 1977
McCain - 1983
McConnell - 1984
Murkowski - 2004
Risch - 2009
Roberts - 1981
Sessions - 1997
Shelby - 1978
Snowe - 1979
Thune - 1996
Vitter - 1999
Voinovich - 1996
Wicker - 1995

Remember, most of them were on the public payroll for years, if not decades, before getting to Washington. 29 of them have been in Washington more than 12 years, which is the point where the odds of any common sense remaining becomes mathmatically impossible.

Control of Senate & Control of House:
Then repeal all Comrade O’s legislation.

While were at it:
Eliminate: EPA, Education, Energy, HHS, Interior, Commerce, NEA, USDA, ACF, AoA, AHRQ, AMTRAK, COPS, HUD, DOT, DOL, EEOC, FEMA, FCIC, FTC, NIH, OSHA, ONDCP, RFA, RFE, RL, VOA

Combine: FBI, NSA, DEA, DHS, CID, NCIS, CGIS, ATF, ICE, Secret Service, Marshal Service

Put NASA, CIA and Coast Guard under the Joint Chiefs.

Then take a deep breath and replace the Income Tax with a sales tax.

""Republicans still have to [win] all the competitive races in order to get to a majority,"

Not sure his math is correct:

Competitive (or easy GOP pickups) are:

Washington, California, Nevada, Colorado, North Dakota, Arkansas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Delaware and possibly Connecticutt

That's 12. Have we conceded a Dem victory in BOTH the New York US Senate seats that are up??? I can't believe Gillibrand is going to get a walk-off. Seems ticket-splitters might prefer to vote Chunks Schumer for one and a pubbie for the other, but then the GOP in NY is not run by smart people ( as we discovered in the Scozzafuzza affair last year).

Between Scott Brown, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, John McCain, and Lindsey Graham, the ‘Pubbies will NEVER control the Senate. They will always have one or more Senators ready to sell them out.

This is going to make Florida interesting. If Crist wins as an independent then who will he caucus with - Republicans or Democrats? Probably which ever party offers him the better deal.
