Tea Party Federation kicks out Williams over blog post

CNN) -- The National Tea Party Federation, an organization that represents the Tea Party political movement around the country, has expelled conservative commentator Mark Williams and his Tea Party Express because of an inflammatory blog post he wrote, federation spokesman David Webb said Sunday.

Appearing on the CBS program "Face the Nation," Webb said that Williams and the Tea Party Express -- which has held a series of events across the country to generate support for the movement -- no longer were part of the National Tea Party Federation.

"We, in the last 24 hours, have expelled Tea Party Express and Mark Williams from the National Tea Party Federation because of the letter that he wrote," Webb said of the blog post by Williams that satirized a fictional letter from what he called "Colored People" to President Abraham Lincoln.

Webb called the blog post "clearly offensive."

Would a real tea party group use terms like federation?

That’s what I’m saying.

We should be shouting from the rooftops what’s in the bill Obama’s about to sign Wednesday and we’re talking about somebody’s feelings being hurt over race.

The TPX is an organization that is trying to hijack the Tea Party movement. They believe they can do anything that they want as they are on of the largest Tea Party groups. There are also reports from those who once traveled with the TPX that the "real Mark Willams is not the man he presents to the public. . .

The TPX is a corrupt group that is not in it for the movement - but for the $$. Look at the money trail within the TPX. It is a tangled web that always leads back to Russo, Marsh and Rogers. There is a chart showing the ins and outs at: www.muthsuntruths.wordpress.com

Kudos to the Tea Party Federation.

What leaders? This is not a membership group. It is only, as I know it, people who happen to believe in the same thing politically, where the government is concerned. I do not have a tea party leader nor do I want one. These so called leaders need to take a long hard look at their actions and where they think they are as far as their idea of leadership and step back from the brink. They can quickly cause this movement to dissolve with their pursuit of power.

PMAS This is not directed at you. Only the fact that there are so called self appointed leaders

All of this rather reminds me of when Adolph Hitler decided to purge Ernst Röhm from the National Socialist movement.

“And, JUST WHAT DID Williams do????”

You don’t write a letter as a “colored person” to Lincoln, when you’re white. There’s nothing to gain from that, and a potential to lose. And yes, I know there’s a double-standard, and yes, I know that they’re going to call you a racist no matter what you do.

But the more you sit back calmly and don’t fuel the leftists’ fire, the more agitated they become (because they literally have nothing else to talk about)- and that’s when their true hatefulness, racist beliefs and ugliness comes out, and you win- try it sometime. We’re not there yet, but I really think people are starting to wake up and realize that all of this is the leftists and many NAACP members (and the Trinity Church members, etc.) projecting their racist beliefs onto everybody else.

But this whole NAACP Resolution is an artificial controversy cooked up to distract people from Obama’s and the Dems colossal failures- remember a lot of the fervent daily cries that “Tea Party is racist” BS subsided after Obamacare was passed. The fact that we are even discussing race again is a sign that we have gotten off course focusing on exploding deficits and Nov., IMHO.

There is NO NATIONAL GROUP.

Time to stop thinking like a Democrat and let a little "diversity" soak through.

At this point in time no one should be doing anything regarding the NAACP except telling them to go take care of their own problems first.

Concerning any sort of letter, cartoon, or whatever that appears to lampoon anyone's race, or pretentions of race, that can be done later once we get this criminal regime deposed and safely locked up in Gitmo. Still, it doesn't need to be done. it adds nothing to the message.

BTW, "purging" sounds so Leftwingtard.

and it begins.... I’ve said it many times but I will say it again, don’t expect to win this battle with tea parties and playing nice. You can’t fight evil, Marxist criminals that way. We may win a battle, but we will never win the war.

Newt Gingrich says Tea Parties should hold town hall meetings with the NAACP to find common ground. Will the Tea Party Federation take Newt’s advice?
