My personal nickname for Deakin is the “little bulldog”. The little dog that’s always nipping at your heels and won’t let go of your pantleg.

Really makes one want to wipe that stupid smirk off his face.
I pray that the voters of Arizona can see that his shenanigans during the primary are just to get McCain reelected.
Deakin, the Huckleberry of Arizona!
What can we do outside of Arizona to help get the truth out about this sleazeball Deakin?

I thought last night JD totally dominated. He continues to be sharp and Reaganesque. There was a lot more noise in this one from Deakin, and John “Lazarus” McCain had a higher energy level and acrimony level tonight, compared to his flat line performance last night. I hope these two debates are enought to energize the JD campaign, he’s the only true hope in this one.

Ask Freeper Kate_Malloy. She seems to know Deakin. She
mentioned he asked her to prep him for the debates.

When Deakin spoke about Afghanistan he let us know he’s one of the anti-war types. I think he’s a third party sneak running under the Republican banner, playing the spoiler role, which is only helping McCain, but that doesn’t matter to Dealin.
He’s in it for himself.
I still think it’s noteworthy that with all McCain’s name dropping, he hasn’t dared to mention Sarah Palin.

Seems to me the best thing we can do now is to send a donation to JD.

Joining you in prayer that the voters of Arizona see the truth. The power of prayer. Lord, hear our prayer. May truth and honor prevail.

Good thread, onyx. Thank you! Was able to watch the whole debate. And no interruptions...not even a phone call until 2 minutes after it was over.
JD was energized, once again. Many zingers thrown at McCain which I cheered.

That was prior to JD entering the race when Deakin thought he would be the only one going up against McCain. Deakin spoke here at a LD4 Republican meeting and I spoke to him after his speech. I told him, after listening to him speak, that it was my opinion that he was in no way ready to go up against the likes of McCain in a debate.
After a long discussion that is when he asked if I would consider being his "sparring" partner in a mock debate with me taking McCain's role. I told him that he needs someone much more astute at that type of thing than I. I still laugh at the thought that he was desparate enough to just come out and ask me after knowing me for all of about 15 minutes!

JD was great last night and tonight. Deakin did better tonight than he did last night, when he kept forgetting his lines. There were times when it was embarrassing, I kept thinking 'just end it, man,' geez.
He probably took some memory pills or something to prepare for tonight's debate. Deakin was in better form, though there are no pills to stop the smirking, though.
