Tonight, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) will debate his primary challengers, former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) and conservative "tea party" activist Jim Deakin in one of only two Republican primary debates.
During the one hour debate, Hayworth will likely concentrate on McCain's 28 years in Congress with a focus on his position on immigration. Deakin said he will compare and contrast his approach in representing constituents to the "other two entrenched politicians." A McCain campaign spokesman said that the Senator "looks forward to a spirited discussion on the issues facing Arizonans."
The LIVE debate will take place tonight at KTVK-TV in Phoenix, Arizona.
Amen to that marmar!
What network?
Same here. I heard the same story at the time. McShame as a former POW dropped all those people in the sh!t because he didn’t want his shame of having been broken under torture to go public because he was going to be president one day. It was pretty obvious at the time that he cut a deal with his old enemies. He’s worse than his helper in that dirty deal, Mr. Rice Butt the Swiftboater Kerry, and that’s saying something.
How about the way he dumped his loyal wife when he came back? Another demonstration of his total lack of character and decency. I just can’t believe that the people of Arizona would be clueless enough to retain this guy as their senator. I’d rather close my eyes, open the phone book and put my finger on a name and send that person to Washington. I’m serious.
OK, later “my friend” (nooooooooooooooooo)!
Swimming is the best, I need to get some water weights or something too.
:(((
Your post is so irrelevant to the dynamics of the debate and to the critical AZ political battle that no one will even bother to pay any attention to what you wrote.
Leni
Rather than an *attack* by JD, I look at it as *setting the record straight*.
Juan has gotten away with too much and FINALLY someone has called him out.
Hopefully, McCain has tooted his own horn for the last time.
I’m off to bed, night everyone, great thread.
Your right. Enumerated Powers and the Constitution are irrelevant. Its all about who can win, not who is Pro America.
I have a different explination, it's a bribe.
A few weeks ago I spent an hour in a meeting sitting across the table from McCain, and listened to him lie. We all knew he was lying, he knew we knew, he just kept lying, it didn't bother him in the least.
That is where I determined to quit watching. I simply could not bear to watch him, or listen to his lies.
Please citizens of AZ, vote out this lying creep. He's rich, he will be fine. Arizona and America will be better for it. Lose him!
Dare I say “it” to ya’ll on this thread?
“GOOD NIGHT my FRiends” ....lol....
Tou’re right! Setting the record straight!
It looks to me that McCain lost his temper too much tonight, had that maddening smirk so many people hated in the Obama debates and actually cost him votes, Deakin’s struck me as a mcCain shill... I am thinking McCain is thanking God Deakin stayed in the race....... JD had his act together and I loved it when he brought up that McCain just changed the name of amnesty to try to make it sound like something other than what it really is....
wow, scottsdale fashion square. could have been mcgavin999 square mall. if we only could go back, knowing what we know now.
Sorry to say that I am learning more everyday that most voters do not have a clue.
We have a month to educate as many as possible.
Oh my gosh, he actually said he would “lead”... this is the man who didn’t have the nerve to vote no on TARP!!!!!!!
“McCain just changed the name of amnesty”
That was so great!
I think my new favorite word is “shape-shifter”! That’s perfect for out here anyway since it’s an Indian term.
