Tonight, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) will debate his primary challengers, former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) and conservative "tea party" activist Jim Deakin in one of only two Republican primary debates.
During the one hour debate, Hayworth will likely concentrate on McCain's 28 years in Congress with a focus on his position on immigration. Deakin said he will compare and contrast his approach in representing constituents to the "other two entrenched politicians." A McCain campaign spokesman said that the Senator "looks forward to a spirited discussion on the issues facing Arizonans."
The LIVE debate will take place tonight at KTVK-TV in Phoenix, Arizona.
Had to listen on the internet (out of state for the summer) and wouldn’t you know it, computer issues so only heard the last half hour!
What we did hear was an energized and well prepared JD as compared to a tired old man.
Can’t wait for the early ballot to VOTE FOR JD!!!

I was really proud of JD tonight, he did great. McCain just looked and sounded old and mean.
i hadn’t heard that one. my grandma said that when she was little (before swampy and air), they would hang up wet sheets in the windows and since it cooled off, they slept outside.
Looks like it’s being re-run on AZCentral’s site in four parts.
How active is JD now in TV and radio advertising? He really needs to follow this debate up with some good ads from here until August 24.

my other grandparents had a “sleeping porch” on top of the house out in the “country” at Bethany Home and 16th street. lol
the grandparents that lived “in town”, had the canal running by their house. that was my dad’s swimming pool.

LOL, since we’re talking about the good old days.....my parents were offered a house on 7 acres for $7,000.00. My dad couldn’t come up with the money but said it was OK since nobody would ever live out that far. It was on Camelback and Scottsdale Rd.
