my other grandparents had a “sleeping porch” on top of the house out in the “country” at Bethany Home and 16th street. lol
the grandparents that lived “in town”, had the canal running by their house. that was my dad’s swimming pool.
LOL, since we’re talking about the good old days.....my parents were offered a house on 7 acres for $7,000.00. My dad couldn’t come up with the money but said it was OK since nobody would ever live out that far. It was on Camelback and Scottsdale Rd.
