Washington's Senate race looks increasingly like a referendum on incumbent Democrat Patty Murray with two Republican candidates edging past her this month.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Washington State finds Republican hopefuls Dino Rossi and Clint Didier both earning 48% support in match-ups with Murray. She, in turn, picks up 45% of the vote against the two GOP challengers. Less than 10% of voters in both cases prefer some other candidate in the race or are undecided.

Woo hoo!!
Dump Murray!!
Rebellion is brewing!!
Oh please let this continue.
Two incumbent ‘Rat Party Senators (Murray and Russ Feingold) have fallen slightly behind in the polls. A wave is slowly building. If conservatives can avoid overconfidence, this could be a big year.
Thanks for posting this. After that truly weird and bizarre poll about McCain and Hayworth, this is some (good) news I can use. :)
YESSSS!
I wish we could get rid of those two dingbat RINOS in Maine!!
Run against them when they are up for re-election.
Snowe is up in 2012 and she’s ripe for defeat in the primaries but don’t put it past her to go either the Specter or Crist route.
Here’s another poll that says the same thing just differently!!!

Did someone factor in the King County (Seattle) voter fraud factor?
Murray.....out, out, out, gone, gone, gone!!!!!
What’s your list of blue to red Senate seats at this point?
I hope that Murray didn’t ditch her tennis shoes. Be a real shame to see her leave the Senate barefoot.
I don’t have one yet. So much time left and still a few nominees not chosen yet. I expect a Republican pickup of between 2 and 12 in the Senate.
Wow - now that's really going out on a limb-LOL.
; )
I live a thousand miles from there,,,but she really irritating.
The little ol’ mom in tennis shoes? Who wouldn’t like her?
So the “mom in tennis shoes” is up for re-election this year, too? Outstanding!
“Snowe is up in 2012 and shes ripe for defeat in the primaries but dont put it past her to go either the Specter or Crist route.”
Feel free to call me RINO, but IF I were in Maine (or a similar state), I would vote for her in both the Primary and the General election in 2012 - although in 2010 I would vote to replace her with a conservative.
Bottom line, 2010 will be a good year and Conservatives will be able to win just about anywhere. 2012 - not so good - we’ll need to fight in the Blue States just to keep our seats - ideological purity will kill us (in 2012).
