Pink was rushed to hospital last night after a stage stunt during her show in Nuremberg, Germany, went horribly wrong.
The 30-year-old singer, who is famous for her acrobatic stage routines, fell out of a harness high above the stage during a particularly difficult move as part of her Funhouse tour.
Pink was then rushed off stage and taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
However, the singer quickly took to her Twitter page to reassure fans who were left terrified by the dramatic accident.
She wrote: 'To all my nurnberg fans- I am so so so sorry to end the show that way.I am embarassed and very sorry. I'm in ambulance now but I will b fine.'
Pink then explained that the accident had happened because she hadn't been secured in her harness correctly, tweeting: 'Didn't get clipped in2 harness correctly, drug me off stage, fell in2 barricade. Getting xrays. I hope it at least looked cool!!!'

That photo makes it look like she is relieving herself of some flatulence.
wow.. very artistic!
hope she is okay. Like her voice
Yeah, her song "Mr. President" galls me to no end, I'm left thinking "Oh give me a flippin' break poor Ms. Multi-millionaire..." but as someone earlier in the thread said, she's a performer (that was me) and she's not running for president (that was someone else)
As a performer I can judge the obvious effort she puts forward in the live appearances I've seen on TV, and in her music, the most recent example being "Glitter in the Air" which is almost annoying in how dead on it is in expressing the perspective of the tail end of one's youthful sense of love and romance.
(No, I never thought I would be writing how a pop song could resonate with someone. Yes, she is actually is a pretty good performer)
well, maybe I should put down Frank’s ‘The Capitol Years’ CD’s and listen in to what the kids are hearing now. couldn’t do any harm I guess.
Oh by the way, which one’s Pink?
Pink is extremely talented, and really can sing, unlike so many singers around nowadays. (They all sound like uluvating goats to me, frankly).
To sing while upside down is extremely difficult. As a singer myself, I recognize her abilities.
However, I will debate that talent necessarily goes with class. I’m sure she has some virtues. But I saw an interview once with her, when she basically admitted the name “pink” came from what a black man said when she lifted up her skirt and showed him her private area.
This does not equate with “class” for me.
A lot of performers have decided that the show matters as much as, or even more than, the music being performed. Part of it is how the business works- writers get paid for every broadcast, album sale and performance, but the performers only make money from the live shows, so they go OTT sometimes. Not always a bad thing; the way Jean Michel Jarre will turn an entire city into his stage (including draping white cloth on scyscrapers to use as projection screens) is one of those things deserving of the “Bucket List”.
When you can’t actually write music or play an instrument you distract the crowd with extraneous BS.
Boy, have a cigar, you're gonna go far.
>>> And we are supposed to know who Pink is? The OldPossum must be out of the loop.
>>> I loved stupid girl. I think that song should be seen by every tween and teen girl today. Actually it is a strong female message.
So does this. I love this song, maybe OldPossum might too!
Pink - So What

Really? Yikes. And I just recently read somewhere that she got her stage name from a nickname her friends gave her and it was because she used to blush a lot.
If you have listened to Limbaugh then you have listened to ...
and you may not have seen ... but you have certainly heard ... the Promised Land.
Didn’t really know much about Pink but after watching that I think she’s a talented young lady.
She seemed to be after a “tough girl” persona. She had parents that had a very contentious divorce with lots of fighting, and it seemed to scar her. She was extremely rebellious and took off from home young, and signed with a black label.
She seemed to suffer from reverse racism, and said that blacks were not happy she was white and gave her quite a hard time. But her natural talent seemed to shine through. So she really seemed to be a self made person that fought hard to succeed, and I respect that. But she definitely picked up a few bad habits along the way, crude language and all that.
She was hanging out with a black acquaintance one day, and he kept bugging her to see her privates. So she showed him. And that is where she got her name, she said.
It's a sad society we live in, where people are encouraged to pick up low class habits because it is cool, and denigrated as “prudes” when they try to improve themselves.
But frankly, that first video - it was pretty, but man, she was naked as a jay bird. And I'm tired of telling me “people wear that on the beach!”. She's not wearing ribbons with a few sparkles to make people think of the beach. If I was watching that with my kids, I'd turn it off. And frankly I'm so disgusted with stuff like that nowadays, I turn it off even without my kids.
“She was hanging out with a black acquaintance one day, and he kept bugging her to see her privates.”
That approach never worked for me.
I guess I am a prude too because I thought she was too naked as well lol. I was going to comment on that but thought I would focus on the positive for now. It’s good to know that I’m not alone in my thoughts! To be honest, I’ve taken a bit of flack from some of my own family even who think I’m weird that I don’t take on the ways of the liberal world when it comes to issues of sex and nudity. Even my own father, who along with my mother, raised us in going to church and learning modesty, has now become more liberal and jokes (or makes it out to be joking) about my prudishness. Guess he forgets he pretty much instilled it, or maybe he’s ashamed. I never know with him because he’s one that I’m starting to believe talks the talk but doesn’t walk... Anyhow I do digress:)
“What a performance. What talent.”
Sarcasm aside, she’s not bad for pop music. I’m not interested in dating her.
Check this video out from Barry Michael. I met him while competing in the National Veterans Wheelchair Games in Denver this past week. This song is a great tribute to veterans.
