Are you sure? I think if there is a big attack, voters will flock to politicians they feel will protect them and that’ll cause a shift AWAY from Zero and TOWARD hawkish conservatives.
Curious if you can shoot holes in my theory and welcome comments.
“never waste a crisis”
IMO...it’s the apex of good and evil.
Blessed and favored be good...
Bolton/Hunter 2012.
How about a terrorist attack on election day, in a large city, with a wmd, with many thousands of deaths. In this way, the regime may “not be able to certify the results”, as entire districts’ votes could not be counted. Then “postpone” new elections until such time as voting can be made “safe”.
Then you have time to blame Tea Partiers for it, and he’s off to the races with even more power.
Depends on what you mean by “flock to politicians”...
I do not flock to a politician in a situation like that...I take personal responsibility for my safety and the safety of others around me...Regardless if I like the politician or not...
If you infer that we would flock to a politician because of a failure of another group of politicians, I can see that to be a cause to change the political ideology in congress as a result of that type of failure...
Should we wait for something to effect that result??? Absolutely not!!! We should stick to the plan at hand and take them out in November...Between now and then we had better hope we still have enough intel and actionable data to thwart another attack...Or crisis, for that matter...
Neighbor,
I would be much obliged if you would remove me from this ping list, and any others I might be on-

I just can’t work up any interest in the things I used to follow.
Thank you,

Sure thing, done.
My condolences to you on your loss. Please find the strength to carry on. I was devestated by a death in the family three years ago, I know it can be very difficult. The only advice I can give is to think about what the person you love and are missing would want you to do, how would they want you to carry on your life without them. I think that brings the person closer to your heart, and for me at least made me realize that they would want me to continue on, to improve and to enjoy my life and meet my responsibilities. By doing that I honor that person more than I can in any other way.
You will be in my prayers. Feel free to drop my a Freepmail if you change your mind on the list, or anything else!
