The question asked is wrong and its dangerous to assume the 87% would vote against Dems.

The problem is the other 87% want the government to help them and will vote for the candidate most likely to give them free stuff.

The polls that ask whether the government is “doing enough’ are essentially propaganda for progressives because they are done with a premise that the government should be doing something.

Well, after all, he is America's first anti-American President.

There is bound to be a little pain associated with that.

What's shocking is that it's 13%, as opposed to zero.

There are still 20-25% of our people who "strongly approve" of little Barry.

Even if we restore a legal and Constitutional government through elections, what to do with those 50-75 million people will continue as a huge problem.

My Sister is one of these people. She has creditted Obama DIRECTLY for her being able to buy a swimming pool. Seriously. She thinks Obama is directly responsible.

Win big? If it just means going from profligate Rat spending back to profligate RINO spending then don’t expect that big “turn around”. The disquiet about Obama’s incompetence and agenda doesn’t equal a desire to see the Boehners and McCains back in charge. It’s Pubbie incompetence and corruption that gave Obama the win in the first place. No one wants those fools back. Well except for the Pubbie True Believers.

What do you expect from a Fox News poll...oh wait it was CBS.

I know they must have found a bunch of racist tea party people to poll who were in disguise.

That’s the only his numbers could be so low /s

I would love to see a profile of this 13%. I am certain that many are like those people standing in line for “free” government money in Detroit who were asked where that money was coming from and they replied...”Obama’s stash”.

I’m sure millions of Obamatons thought that utopia had finally arrived with his election. They probably thought their checks were in the mail even before his inauguration. “So where are the checks?” they’re now asking. It’s not that Obama isn’t trying to expropriate wealth from the producers and give it to the non-producers. It’s that finally the GOP has some backbone and the Tea Partiers are showing the country what a socialist tool he really is. It’s also that his policies have been disasters.

That’s a lot of pessimism. But it’s the result of the Democrats’ deficit spending as shown in this video put out by Senate Republicans:

I predicted that Obama’s approval numbers would begin to plummet by summer of ‘09. He actually started sliding in the spring of last year and has exceeded even MY expectations for his decline.

What is difficult to predict at this point is what a “change” in the House (if not the Senate) will mean in real terms for the remainder of his presidency. We can “hope” that a change of management in the House could mean that the brakes would be applied to his Wreck America agenda and, possibly, leading to his impeachment.

However, we need to be realistic. The ‘Pubbies who are likely to assume control of the House are the same linguini-spined, clueless wonders who made such a mess of things that we LOST the House and the Senate in ‘06 and, of course, in ‘08! Do we honestly expect to do the same thing over again (put them back in control) and obtain a DIFFERENT result? And, the Senate is no different. There simply aren’t enough Tea Party backed candidates to fill the anticipated void if we succeed in taking control of at least one house of Congress.

So, again, what ARE our expectations and are we expecting too much??

That 13% consists mostly of union leaders, assorted leeches, government workers and unvetted Czars.

IIRC, 13% is roughly the number of workers who are union members in private business plus government union workers.

It also may reflect union members plus family members.

Not a good sign.
