...Within the administration’s National Security Strategy – released at the end of May – one of the components is a civilian expeditionary force which the White House says is “fundamental” to national security.
“Our diplomatic personnel and missions must be expanded at home and abroad to support the increasingly transnational nature of 21st century security challenges,” the NSS writes, “And we must provide the appropriate authorities and mechanisms to implement and coordinate assistance programs and grow the civilian expeditionary capacity required to assist governments on a diverse array of issues.”

Its the one in the title of the post . Yes it IS in the health bill.
I recall seeing a clip of one of Obamas speeches where he specifically talks about a National civillian force as big and as well funded as the military. I saw all the people behind him just clapping and I thought to myself they are not listening to what this man is saying I heard it loud and clear and was disgusted and frightened at the same time
Obama: "People of all ages, stations, and skills will be asked to serve.... I will set a goal for all American middle and high school students to perform 50 hours of service a year, and for all college students to perform 100 hours of service a year...."
And they STILL voted for him..sigh.
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
I know- People were not listening. I alos remember Muchelle saying how hard it would be and Barack would never let you go back and how we all have to sacrafice. I thought what heck is she talking about and then I yelled some words that can not be repeated on this forum :)

:( well we should buck up and hopefully things can be truned around. I know each night when I go to bed I say a prayer that the evil does in the whitehouse will be exposed and then I pray for America, Funny how most of my life I just flew along by the seat of my pants not really paying much attention to politics unitl the end of Clintons 2nd term and then there was the Bush Gore election and I saw what dirty plitics were with the recount and the scandalous butterfly ballots. I saw how the liberals beat down Bush everyday and sure he did some things I didnt like but at least I did not think of him as evil which is how I truly feel about our current President. One good thing that has come about since the election of Obama is I think people realize how much they love America and that it really is the greatest country on earth
anybody remember the near rebellion in the State Department (during the Bush Admin) because Iraq and Afghanistan were too dangerous. They didn’t have enough volunteers so they were assigning people to those to countrys...
Where does The Dear Leader think he is going to find all these additional civilians willing to go to war zones?
I wonder how many countries he plans to invade and rebuild. If we take him at his word (for the sake of argument) why else would he create a new permanent bureaucracy for the purpose of nation building?
