Tanzanian newspaper reports that Obama has “origins from East Africa” OBAMA “ROOTS OUTSIDE COUNTRY”

An online newspaper based in Tanzania is reporting that “Barack Abdallah Husein Obama,” the “first black US president,” was born outside of the United States.

Written in broken English, the article notes that the President of the United States has historically been required to be born on U.S. soil but that “This might have been the result of racism or belief that a person other than ‘original’ US citizen was capable of effectively leading the powerful nation and help it to maintain its values.”

The writers go on to say that “We witnessed last year a senator with his origins from east Africa, Barack Abdallah Husein Obama, becoming the first black US president. He won the race on Democrat ticket and was sworn on January 20, 2009 as US president.”

The article then compares the events of the 2008 U.S. presidential election to the upcoming election to be held in Tanzania later this year in which a candidate from “Pemba” could win.

The publication contains other articles mentioning Obama, one of which was covered the G20 summit in Toronto and was dated June 28, 2010.

The authors state that Zanzibar, which consists of two islands, Pemba and Unguja, has never elected a president from the island of Pemba. The two islands of Zanzibar located in the Indian Ocean are part of Tanzania in East Africa, with the country of Kenya just north of Tanzania.

Agreed, this blatant talk of Kenyan "origins" could be sleight of hand (I am not willing to discount it yet, but it is possible that the press in other countries is poking at us and laughing), and the truth could be hiding in plain sight. It's a good idea to keep an eye on the magician's hands and not just the cards or the rabbit.

There may be a hint of truth with this tie to Tanzania.

Background:

Barack Hussein Obama Jr. is believed to have been born in Mombasa, Kenya
on August 4, 1961.

If true, the city of Mombasa — in what is now Kenya — was part of what was known in 1961 as the “ten-mile strip”, a/k/a the “coastal strip” (and about a half dozen other names). Though the "coastal strip" was geographically in the then-Kenyan colony, it was politically under Zanzibar, which by then was independent from Tanganyika.

Tracing the historical perspective of the land issue, the former CKRC commissioner, writes: “In 1895, the Sultan [of Zanzibar] gave the British power to administer the ten-mile coastal strip subject to their respecting the existing Kadhi’s Courts, among other conditions. The British did so and declared a protectorate over the Coast while the rest of Kenya was a colony proper. The Sultan [of Zanzibar], however, retained sovereignty over the ten-mile Coastal Strip. During the last years of the independence struggle and at the start of the Lancaster House Constitutional talks in 1961, the status and fate of the coastal strip came up for determination.”

Kenya became independent on December 12, 1963. Zanzibar became independent two days earlier; but the “coastal strip” had been ceded by the Sultan of Zanzibar to Kenya in October 1963 in a recently-discovered letter (The Kenya Coastal Strip Ð Report).

As part of this letter agreement between the the British Government, the Sultan of Zanzibar and soon-to-be-formed independent Government of Kenya, the Sultan of Zanzibar would surrender his Sovereignty claims over the "coastal strip", in consideration of the Kenya Government undertaking to respect and safeguarding inter alia the maintenance of the Sharia Law for Muslims and the retention of the Kadhi’s Courts. It's probable that NOT EVERYONE got this diplomatic memo announcing that the "Coastal Strip" would NO LONGER be part of Zanzibar (later Tanzania).

On a side note, there are still many property disputes to this day between people who own property in the “coastal strip” and squatter who don't accept this October 1963 agreement. Things were obviously very unstable as the Brits set free empires throughout Africa. (Revisiting ten-mile strip controversy)

Regardless, on January 12, 1964, insurgents overthrew the Sultan of Zanzibar and his government. By April 26, 1964, a merger of with the new government of Zanzibar with Tanganyika formed the new nation of Tanzania.

Many of civil and Kadhi’s Court documents from the fateful Mombasa and “coastal strip” area surely lie in the hands of Tanzania officials from that confusing time in history ... possibly including a much-sought 1961 Kadhi Court “Marriage Certificate” between the parties of Obama/Dunham and/or a “Certificate of Life Birth” for a baby born circa Aug 1961 in Mombasa — named “Barack Abdallah Husein Obama”.

Bottom line: Copies of Obama Jr's Mombasa Birth Records may well exist in Tanzania's Vital Statistic archives. Seeing how Ann Dunham had a penchant for changing her own name, she may have dropped "Abdallah" on a "Certificate of Late Birth" application for her mulatto son as they passed though Hawaii, on "Mrs. Anna Obama"/"Stanley Ann Dunham Obama"'s way to start school in September 1961 at University of Washington in Seattle.

Obambi as Senator campaigned in Kenya for Raila Odinga, violating the Logan Act. The “Change” mantra was used there to and you can find billboards/signs online from that time.

Odinga, who claims he’s a “cousin” of Barry’s and likewise from the Luo tribe, wanted to establish Sharia Law in Kenya, and after losing the election he incited a bloodbath which helped him get the Prime Minister position.
