White House denies NASA chief's claim that he was told his mission was to make Muslims feel good.

Bolden or Obama? One of them is lying.

I put my money on Obama any day. If Bolden misspoke on Al Jezeera, one would think the administration would have corrected him in a timely fashion.

What a bunch of loons. Can you imagine someone with Bolden's credentials accepting such a directive from the President?

Congress and Obama cut the NASA budget to the bone.

So the NASA chief goes to the Arabs and trolls for a cash infusion.

What do you do when you are looking for contributions from rich folks?

You stroke their egos naturally.

The guy was over there plowing the ground for future cooperative scientific missions with the Arab countries.

Bolden claims Obama told him this BEFORE he became the administrator. He still took the job KNOWING so. His speech to the engineers at JSC was essentially, “Yes, you are screwed, get with the program. Don’t complain, if you don’t like it, get in contact with us, and we’ll chat.”

Worst NASA choice ever. I mean, so far. If he quits, Garver may take the job, and she is a real doozy.

Even if you believe the White House spin, it doesn't look good for Obama. After-all, he has either placed a crazy person who is delusional as the head of NASA or he has placed a man who is a liar. Either way it demonstrates Obama’s incompetence.

Even if we accept the White House story... then it means they are admitting they picked a very confused individual and put him in an executive position as NASA Administrator. That being said, I think everyone knows the White House is lying.

NASA has some money. Garver and Bolden changed accounting rules so a a large amount of the Constellation budget is placed in an escrow account instead of being used for systems development. By starving the effective use of Congressionally approved funding, Bolden and Garver effectively killed the Constellation program in violation of Congress’ intent. The damage Obama, Bolden, and Garver have done to the program is criminal. They got away with it.
