The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will propose a resolution this week condemning racism within the tea party movement.
The resolution, scheduled for a vote as early as Tuesday by delegates attending the annual NAACP convention in Kansas City, calls upon “all people of good will to repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties, and to stand in opposition to its drive to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era.”
NAACP leaders said the resolution was necessary to make people aware of what they believe is a racist element within the tea party movement.

Among the charges lodged against the tea party in the resolution:
•Tea party supporters have engaged in “explicitly racist behavior” and “displayed signs and posters intended to degrade people of color generally and President Barack Obama specifically.”
•Tea party activists have used racial epithets, have verbally and physically abused black members of Congress and others, and have been charged with threatening public officials.
Tea party supporters also have a distorted view of race relations, the resolution says, citing poll data that found that 25 percent believe that the Obama administration’s policies favor blacks over whites, and 52 percent believe that “too much” has been made of the problems facing black people, compared with 28 percent of the general population.

1.) Minorities are represented in the Tea Party movement-however, if the MSM just refuses to publicize on THAT element… what can WE do about that?
2.) The Tea Party movement is exactly like the RNC and other Conservative organizations in this country... it’s NOT exclusive!! ANYONE who wants to enroll is welcome. If minorities prefer Liberal organizations and the DNC, then what can the rest of us do about it?

The NAACP was instrumental in getting the charges against the Black Panthers dropped.
Sorry, but I’m free to criticize this Administration if I want to.
The NAACP really doesn’t like a level playing field, do they? They were free to spout all kinds of nonsense regarding Bush, and conservatives in general. But when this Administration gets criticized, for perfectly legitimate reasons, it’s “racist”.
This falls into the “so what?” category for me. Crying racist at every turn might have worked at one time, but now it is just trite. We hear it at every turn and it’s getting boring.
Despite all the mud slung, all the msm lack of interest and bad press, the Tea Party isn’t going any where but forward! So get over it NAACP, you are so 2000 late.
This is simply another commie psyops operation being run through a commie subsidiary, the NAACP. It is designed to shape public opinion and place in the minds of the electorate that all Tea Partiers are racists. This is the old commie tactic of painting anything that is threatening to Obama or the left as racist when they have nothing else to attack with.
Someone needs to slam this operation in the media and call it out for what it is. For too long, the enemy has been allowed to conduct these sorts of operations completely unmolested.
It is time to stand up and fight back!

I have attended several Tea Party events and have not seen anything that could be called racist, even using a very liberal definition of the word.
