A new financial report filed Sunday evening showed Sarah Palins political action committee has taken its fundraising to a higher level and suggests that she has begun building a more sophisticated political operation in place of a bare-bones organization powered mostly by her rock star status and scrappy on-line presence.
The report, filed with the Federal Election Commission, shows that Palins political action committee raised more money in the second quarter of this year $866,000 than it had in any previous three-month stretch since Palin formed the group in January 2009.
The committee, Sarah PAC, also spent nearly twice as much $742,000 as it had in any previous quarter, the lions share of which went to the type of list-building and fundraising (including its first major direct-mail campaign) that typically undergird top-tier political committees. It also reported its biggest-ever round of donations to candidates $87,500 and its highest outlays for travel costs, including $17,000 on private jet fare to crisscross the country for high-profile political speaking gigs, and speechwriting. It also showed continued payments for that speechwriting as well as foreign and domestic policy consulting, and its first ever payments to a scheduler.
In short, for the first time since the 2008 campaign when she was the vice-presidential running mate to GOP presidential candidate John McCain, Palin is supported by a political operation befitting someone considering a presidential run.

Then why is she standing with and shilling for the number one proponent of amnesty???
You need to keep current, but your mind is made-up so you can’t let facts or truths get in the way of your rants.
You’re wrong too, pissant, but you know that.
Back off you rodent. Enough is enough.
Thank you for enduring all the flak. That means you are doing something effective.
“Now I guess we know why Palin is pro-amnesty.”
LOL, You’ve posted this dung forever, and it gets shot down everytime.
You have no credibility. Good luck on the Ron Paul Third Party run.
I think we’re on the same side. But there might be one difference: please consider the ‘Weaken McCain’ strategy.
Even if Hayworth loses, McCain is being dragged to the right, and this is good for Palin; it makes her support of McCain less stinky.
I’ve also locked horns with rabscuttle over Palin and ultimately agreed to disagree.
Despite that, rab has been doing some things right — excellent research on the AZ primary, exposing Grahamnesty, and outing other RINOs. That is also important for conservatism.
You have critical minded people and postiitive minded people. The key is to properly harness the energies of both in a well-timed manner.

Bonafide woman hater club members???
There are no truths to them, just delusions and twisting of reality to fit their 1%’er irrelevancies.
“DeMint endorsed Graham”
Wow, I didnt know that. I knew he actively and very early, suppported Romney...
LOL, funny stuff.
This would be a very nice time for a purge.
After hearing some things over the last 2 weeks. I believe the days are numbered for Rabs and his cast of....
It’s very tiring; the continued condemning of Palin. We get it already; we know the objections. It’s gotten to the point that it’s obsessive and demented. I don’t read any of the threads when posted by certain members but this one was hijacked right off the bat.
I’m not sure about banning or purging though. Although I hear it got very ugly around FR when Guilliani (sp) was trying to make a run and people were banned. Who knows.
To 28 - You might consider unplugging from the grid for a long while. Living vicariously thru Sarah Palin isn’t conducive to positive mental well-being. It tends to make one behave like a wanker.
If Palin’s ongoing campaign for McCain causes McCain to win, there will be a purge alright.....but it won’t be Rabs, MK, me or D1 who needs to worry about it ;-)
