Ed Schultz, the lib talker radio and television host, recently postulated that Barack Obama may not really desire to be president. Schultz said it may just not be his "gig".
In an interview with ABC News, Obama had told Diane Sawyer that he'd rather be a really good one term president, than a mediocre two term president. Instead, what we're dealing with is a man who would be happy to serve only one term, provided that he can push his radical agenda on the American people.
Three examples stand out as to what Obama is trying to accomplish in his first (and perhaps only) term as president.
First and foremost, Obama used a recess appointment to make Dr. Donald Berwick the new health-care rationing czar.
Ludicrous, you say?
Berwick is a single-payer proponent, who is enamored with the British model of health-care. He praised what Great Britain has done with their health-care system and said "that any health-care funding plan that is just, equitable, civilized and humane, must...must redistribute wealth, from the rich among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. Excellent health care is by definition re-distributional".
This is the guy who is going to be heading the $800 billion Medicare and Medicaid agency. He wants to remake the U.S. health-care system from the ground up.
Second, Obama's pick for NASA administrator, Charles Bolden, in an interview with Al Jazeera, said his top priority, was to "find ways to reach out to dominantly Muslim countries." He was supposed to make them feel good about themselves and their contribution to science and technology.
Now there's a great idea. Let's make them feel good about themselves, then perhaps share some missile technology with them, so they can conduct holy "star" wars in space. Why is Obama so obsessed with kowtowing to the Islamic world? Why does he placate the radicals who are hell-bent on destroying us, while throwing Israel under the bus?
Why indeed.
Third, Obama is holding the American people hostage with regard to the problem of illegal immigration in this country.
Arizona recently passed a strict new illegal immigration law which mirrors Federal law. It requires law enforcement to check the citizenship status of anyone being detained or questioned regarding another possible violation of the law. It has more stringent guidelines in place to prevent racial profiling than the Federal law. And it is a measure that was passed by Arizona's state legislature and signed into law by Governor Jan Brewer because the Feds have failed to do their job of securing the border. The Obama administration is suing Arizona over the passage of this law.
Recently, Senator John Kyl (R), met with a group of his constituents from the North Tempe, Arizona Tea Party. He informed them that in a private, closed door Oval Office meeting with the president, Obama told him that the reason the border was not being secured, was that if the Feds did that, then Republicans would have no reason to support comprehensive immigration reform.
Again, Obama's radical agenda is put ahead of the will of the American people. Recent polls indicate that a vast majority support Arizona's law. And at least 17 other states have introduced similar legislation.
It matters not to Obama. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.
Three things will be on the minds of Americans when they take to the polls in November. They will be thinking about the massive health-care plan that was rammed down their throats despite overwhelming opposition to it. They will be remembering the contentious town hall meetings in which their elected representatives mocked them and pushed back on Obamacare and the failure of this administration to secure the borders.
And still front and center on the minds of the American people is the war on terror, which over the course of the last year and a half has become an "overseas contingency operation", with terrorist attacks being labeled "man-made disasters".
And now Obama bows before other world leaders, including those of Muslim nations, and charges the NASA administrator with reaching out to Muslims, and making them feel good about themselves. Again, over the objections of the American people.
Does this sound like the agenda of a president who plans on running for a second term?
Don't count on it.

Obama isn't worried because he has a 'slush fund' aka as bail out money set aside along with the Unions that have been paid back, the Black Panthers, Black Caucus, George Soros, and several dozen other organizations gathering now to keep him in the White House...not to mention what Ms. Obama is up to. His lies, his abuse of our Constitution, Pelosi's congress who bribed, cajoled, and threatened in order to get unlawful and unconstitutional bills passed for Obama...the worst being health care and his nationalizing private industry, killing private enterprise and more to the point, killing Capitalism there by losing to date probably half a million jobs in the private sector while growing government by making jobs available, a national debt unheard of - of $8,128,207,427,249 - and IMHO, criminal...then there is ACORN and SEIU both on the tax dole and beholden to Obama......(a very prophetic video) keeping him out of a second term is going to be extremely hard.
So jackass Obama might not run for a second term? Like Lyndon B. Johnson, he sees that he is in a lose/lose situation and the only way to save face is to start laying the foundation for his departure.
In view of the current Justice Department investigation into the voter scandals from 2008, they will probably open an investigation into Obama’s illegal election only after he is gone.
He is running again in 2012. Count on it.

So now it begins. The preemptive spin in case OSTUPID loses. See. The story will be he really didn’t want a second term anyway and if you don’t get soemthing you never wanted, then how can it be considered a loss?
I believe in all the years (I have closely followed politics, I have NEVER seen the Left ever admit they “lost” an election, had any legislation proposed by them defeated or in any way suffered rejection by the American people. Instead it has always been explained by their whining they couldn’t get their message out. the election was stolen. ther people just didn’t understand what we wanted to do for them or the Republicans lied.
All the more important the Nov election will be to stop the fast-tract of Obamah Socialism.

This guy just had to get his White House ticket punched, on his way to a life of leisure before his 50th birthday: some speaking engagements at $100K each, once or twice a month, plus a few multi-million book deals (ghostwritten by a left-wing radical who can actually write, like Bill Ayers).
He saw how the Clintons were prospering in their post-White House lives, and said, “Me too.” I’m sure that Michelle can get elected as senator from Illinois, then picked for a top level Cabinet post such as secretary of state, to keep the brass polished and the book deals and speaking engagements rolling in.
Remember: just six short years ago, he was an obscure state senator in Springfield, Illinois.
America. What a wonderful country.
Obama is faced with a difficult situation when it comes to being President. His ego and narcissism are satisfied by the power, but he’s actually having to WORK for the first time in his entire life (even if he’s taking a lot of time off, and playing lots of golf). This guy has never worked a day in his life. I imagine it’s quite an internal struggle for him.
My prediction:
Obama runs in 2012, but is challenged by a Democrat in the primaries. This Democrat is a throw-away, never intending to win, but who makes several gaffes regarding race (black and hispanic).
Obama wins the primary, but the race issue is at the forefront of the election and the Republican is labeled a “racist” without a single word.
Every dictator in history has tried to leave their evil legacy behind. We must elect patriots that will not only reverse his evil policies, but disgrace him publicly for his treason.
