I can’t help but think someone is trying to provoke an ‘incident’ to give the government the excuse it needs to crack down. Their must be a reason for their bravado, they seem to think someone has their backs.

The problem is, they are the mouth piece. The majority of blacks agree with them to some degree or another.

I know this story is upsetting to you, Stevio, but you're throwing out a generality that just isn't true. The majority of blacks have never sided with the Black Panthers, or with any other violent black organization.

As with any racial or social group, there will always be some number who agree with nutjobs like the NBPP, but they are decidedly in the minority.

thanks, yes, that was a wake-up and I did immediately adjust all of my FB settings to “friends only”

my friend, who is pretty much a libertarian, was totally disgusted with the other guy, who he’d only known a very long time ago in another place — couldn’t believe the guy would jump all over the page of a casual acquaintance (my friend) to viciously and irrationally attack a total stranger (me) over and over again

that’s one of the strange aspects of the “brave new world” of social media
