You get 11 points instead of 10 for A’s in (AP) Advanced Placement courses. At least we did in the early 1970’s, when I was in those courses.

Did the Castro family ever wire large amounts of money to Mexico?

Here is what’s wrong with this country, my daughter has a similar GPA and is also in advance classes. I have been commuting over 100 miles per day for 20 years so she I can keep my children in a very good school district, not counting all the taxes I pay. When it comes time for college, I won’t be eligible for a dime in assistance and have to foot the bill on my own, the illegal will go for nothing. When both children graduate college, they will be competing against each other and my daughter will most likely loose out due to some affirmative action policy.

I only managed it once and that was in college. There was no advanced placement there.

Her 4.09 is below average for a UC Berkeley or UCLA incoming Freshman. I think the average is around 4.2.
By the way my All-American son couldn't get into those two UC schools despite a 4.15 GPA and SAT’s in the top 99%. But he doesn't need someone to write a sob story about him, he's 5th in his class at a mid-tier UC school and is currently interning at a Fortune 100 company.
Happens to citizens' kids everyday, all across the country.

BTW, Gladys['s] family left Jalisco, Mexico, when she was 8 years old, after two of her relatives were kidnapped and murdered.
