They are still children, only 12 or 13 years old. They fall in love for the first time, at the school gates or on Facebook, and wind up with a pimp. Parents and police are struggling against the hold so-called loverboys have over young girls, but often it's already too late.
In the Netherlands they're called loverboys, these men who captivate schoolgirls and then send them out on the streets, young men who meet 13, 14 and 15-year-old girls outside their schools or online, through social networks like Facebook, and who then make them dependent on their attentions, their affection and drugs, until it's too late and the girls belong to them.
That was how it happened with Angelique, who was in 8th grade when it started; and with Maria, 12, whose loverboy made sure that she continued going to school; and with Mowitha, a 13-year-old girl who liked playing football and the guitar, until she met her loverboy.
Dutch society has been shaken by the stories of girls like Angelique, who go to math class in the morning and turn tricks at lunchtime, sometimes even during free periods between classes. But what is perhaps most shocking is that these are not girls from broken homes and socially deprived environments who are sliding into and disappearing in the underworld, but girls from the center of society, daughters of teachers and café owners. Sometimes they work as prostitutes for years before anyone even notices.
Emotional dependence between prostitutes and pimps has always existed. Women are made submissively dependent with drugs, violence and sometimes affection, to ensure that they do their pimps' bidding. But the idea that young men are systematically seeking out schoolgirls to groom them to become prostitutes is a new phenomenon that has overwhelmed parents, teachers and police.

In school too, it took a long time before anyone noticed what was wrong with Maria. Her loverboy made sure that she was not absent enough to raise any alarm bells. Whenever she had to leave class, Maria told her teachers that she had to go to the doctor, or she invented other lies.

These "loverboys" are not much older than the young girls. I get the impression that someone older is behind the scenes directing the young boy to make the right moves keeping parents and teachers in the dark about what is really going on.
And here I thought it was the teachers.
I remember a time when you’d think of Holland and the first things that came to mind was windmills and wooden shoes...
> I remember a time when youd think of Holland and the first
> things that came to mind was windmills and wooden shoes...
That was during their Christian era.
Now they are living as though there is no God.
We’re not far behind them. In fact, in some ways, we’re worse.
I remember landing in Holland and seeing the windmills and tulips from the airport as we changed planes.
I can easily see this becoming a phoneme over here. Parents are busy working. They often come home to an empty house because parents are typically at work.
During the middle school years kids are stepping out a little to form their own identity. Flattery and attention are often hard to resist from the opposite sex. At this young age, they are not savvy. When the boy is close in age and appears attractive ... with bad motives ... it could easily lead to this.
why do i feel there is a muslim connection to this?
“Loverboys’ should be re-named “Lampost Boys” by hanging them from lamp posts in public squares, to be eaten by crows.
“why do i feel there is a muslim connection to this?”
You are correct! They won’t say what religion they are but they mention that the pimps are from Morocco, have the name Yassin, or are of African descent.
This has also been happening in Israel with Jewish girls getting pimped by Arab men.
That's why I posted it here. This is very disturbing. In the Netherlands prostitution is LEGAL. There is no good reason to seduce these young girls like this. These young girls are vulnerable confuse sex with love and become addicted to the guy.
Why are they shocked, they are living in secular, basically godless countries now. This is what you get, anything goes, nothing is wrong, you can’t criticize anyone because who are you to say what’s right and wrong for someone else? Everything is relative, so go mind yourself and shut up. Make me feel bad and I’ll report you for human rights abuse.
“There is no good reason to seduce these young girls like this.”
If they are infidel girls there is good reason by the Muslim men to do this. It’s another form of jihad.
Many such cases have been documented in once-great Britain and Norway as well. And I’m sure in every nation that has fallen victim to the muslim mass-migration.
In one British incident the police refused to do anything since doing something might be perceived as racist...
These stupid people ...
“A few weeks ago, Dutch Justice Minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin proposed legislation that would raise the minimum age for prostitutes from 18 to 21, so as to protect minors from involuntary prostitution, human trafficking and loverboys.”
Raising the age for prostitution isn't the issue. Making what is immoral LEGAL is the issue. It should never have been legalized.
“Its another form of jihad.”
Yes ... and the Japanese did this to the Chinese women when they invaded China. It most situations it destroys the female.
“I remember a time when youd think of Holland and the first things that came to mind was windmills and wooden shoes...”
I feel your pain. Britain once meant knights in shining armor, not mindless twits like “Sir” Paul McCartney;)
Simple solution. Make forcing a child into prostitution a capital offense and kill a few dozen of those perverts.
This is nothing that a bullet to the head wouldn’t fix, courtesy of the father.
Anyone want to bet me that he isn't a Muslim?
Muslim scum. If Muslim men are not flogging, killing, or mutilating the genitals of women, they are prostituting little girls in between prayers to "Allah"
gotta say, it occurred to me too. maybe there’s not but you have to wonder.
