One step at a time, one day at a time. And you are Dad, with Dad responsibilities, not their friend. I’ve seen more than a few kids be brats and end up losers because their Dad wanted to be friends, rather than Dad the teacher, the guide, the rule maker and enforcer, the one to be respected for his knowledge and leadership.
Sounds like you are doing a fine job. Kids tend to hang at the cool Dad’s house. d:o)
Sorry I missed your departure, HJ. G’night! Rest well and have a great tomorrow! *hugs*
I hope you realize just how true those words are. I remember when hubby told our daughter and son they weren't old enough to be his friend but when they were he would let them know. At the time, they didn't understand why but later on they thanked him for it!
Just saw the music request.....be right back. I’ll see if I have it.
I see they’re tearing up Oakland tonight!
I have Dire Straits...still looking.
I still have a few thing to finish up before I can lay this poor old head down so I’m gonna scoot outta here! Have a great tomorrow and hope to see ya on the flip side!! G’night! *HUGS* around!
Stupid people...messing up their own town because they are mad...dumb, dumb, dumb!!!
Good night and safe journey, Taz...((HUGS))
Sending prayers of peace for both you and your daughter, and for grammy, too. You will do well working together.

I found Sultans of Swing by Mark Knopfler....working on it. Might be tomorrow night.
Co-conspirators with Dad, huh? They will love it.
I took a nap....good night, teen, and rest well. *HUGS* Have a good Friday.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep all of us free and safe.
Coffee is always on........
How about a donut?
Cookies?
Veggies?
Sandwich?
Good night.
Good morning, ColdOne...((HUGS))...almost made it to 70 yesterday, with mid to high 60s and rain over the weekend.
Thanks for helping honor our troops.
RIP
