I hope she comes off any way that works in the voters eye but strikes like a cougar after getting elected.

PSSST........ The voter fraud occurs at the County recorders office they can cheat quite a bit but they can't hold back a landslide

I’d love nothing more than to see Boxer lose but either way, a liberal will win this election.

SIGH... it’s like the choice between dying early or dying later. Not pleasant choices.

Reminds me of a 3 Stooges scene...

EXECUTIONER : Choose how you want to die -— by guillotine or to be burned at the stake.

CURLY : Burn me at the stake.

MOE : Why ?

CURLY : Because Hot roast is better than Cold Chop. Nyuk, Nyuk.

The sad part is that the truly conservative candidate finished dead last - behind a homo-activist RINO.

You’re right, she’s no Meg Whitman.
During the primary debate it was clear she was the nominee IMO.

Distasteful as Fiorina may be, there are plenty of good reasons to hope she wins. Even her making a battle of it would be very helpful.

First there’s the obvious fact that left as she may be, she’s still to the right of Boxer. But more importantly is the fact that if the Dem slide is so bad that CA goes GOP, that will mean the GOP almost certainly gains control of the Senate.

As imortant as all that, though, is the fact that it’s very expensive to run in California. If the national Dems have to spend $ there, that’s resources that they won’t be spending in Kentucky, Ohio, Missouri, Colorado, Pennsylvania, etc.

Hank

Better the RINO than Boxer. If we take Boxer out, we lessen the pain on everyone.

Best reason to vote for Carly:

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell

Agree - from the blue state of CA I would rather have an "R" in the tally, than insist on a real conservative. We need the numbers in Nov 2010, no matter how we get there. The damage that is about to be done if the RATS retain control through 2012 will be irreversible.

I won’t be voting there, but oh would I like to see Boxer get tossed! As for Fiorina being just a tad to the left of Boxer...well she owes Palin now .....that’s some leverage ,over none with Boxer, if she wins.

If we do win the majority again, it will be with the highest amount of RINOs. I remember two years ago and even until recently we were trying to rid ourselves of RINOs. We have certainly changed that thinking here at Free Republic. How do you suppose we will get anything done if we have even more RINOs then we did when we had the majority before. President Bush was constantly stabbed in the back by the RINOs and now we believe that these RINOs are just going to get in line and back the Republican President in 2013? That is highly doubtful.

At least GOP should be vigilant about voter fraud.

And on the lookout for Black Panthers wandering around with a bullhorn and a club...

Thanks for the information, Dan. I have to admit, it’ll give me great pleasure to oust Boxer, even with Fiorina/FioRINO as the case might prove to be.

We know the dirt dumb, liberal to max, Boxer and Fiorina will be a vast improvement if she can win the seat. The Heathcare vote proved there’s no such thing as a moderate democrat, but it also proved when the chips were down, all the Republican “moderates” including the Maine girls stood solidly together against it. There *is* hope when RINOS are called on to act in our Repubic’s best interest.

GOP be vigilant about voter fraud? The GOP isn’t diligent about tying their shoes. The CA GOP is particularly pathetic and useless.

Carly’s not all I’d like her to be, but in comparison to Boxer, she’s a real good start. I think she would mostly be a pretty good senator - or at least a huge improvement.

Conservative Californians who stay home because Fiorina is a RINO is the same type who stayed home in 2008 because McQueeg was a RINO and thus gave us Obummer, which begat Sotomayor and probably Kagan and this lovely Economy and the Gulf Oil Spill.....and the list goes on.

I've been back and forth on this issue as long as I have been on FR.

There are GOP'ers that I consider beyond the pale as RINOs (McCain, Huckabee, Romney) and there are GOP'ers who I endorse that other Freepers consider to be RINOs (Barbour, Daniels).

I don't believe that there is a single GOP elected official in this country for whom some Freeper can't concoct a reason to call them a RINO.

So on balance my opinion is that we have to hold national candidates, and candidates in solidly red states (that means YOU, Lindsey) to higher standards.

For GOP candidates in solidly liberal enclaves the best we can hope is that they don't completely screw the pooch.
