Surprise - a British panel ruled that the scandal known as ClimateGate that supposedly revealed the manipulation of certain data strengthen the case of manmade global warming was much ado about nothing. But, The New York Times in a July 7 story called these findings of an inquiry led by Muir Russell, a retired British civil servant and educator, "a sweeping exoneration" of the ClimateGate scientists in question.
While there are still some serious and legitimate concerns to be raised about what ClimateGate reveal despite the findings, Bill Nye, the so-called "Science Guy" is celebrating and at the same time dismissing skeptics of Russell's findings. He explained why he thought this was important on CNN's July 7 broadcast of "Campbell Brown."
"Well, it's important to people like me," Nye said. "It's important to all the scientists. I think people who don't believe in climate change, who deny climate change, I don't think it's going to affect them very much at all because they're already committed to their - to their beliefs and this will be just one more brick in the great ziggurat of conspiracy for those people."

The AGW cult have exonerated themselves and declared victory.
They forget that science is about science. Being cleared of 'deliberate malpractice' by some government stooge does not mean that AGW theory is therefore correct.
They need to explain why their warming models predict a hot-spot that isn't there.
They need to explain how the Medieval Warm Period, the Roman Warm Period and the Minoan Warm period happened without any industrialization.
They don't get a pass by manufacturing victories from tame committees.

I saw Bill Nye on MSNBC yesterday talking about how this was on track to be the warmest year ever, warmest June ever, etc.
I thought the “global temperature”, (if there is such a thing), hadn’t gone up for 10 years? How can there be so many “facts” in direct opposition?
What’s irrational is that Bill Nye is supposed to be a scientist and he believes this global warming BS.

“Facts don’t matter. I am a scientist. I say so, so it’s true. Trust me.”
The group of people who “exonerated” Jones is like a bunch of Mafia members forming a panel saying they never did any hits. Just business as usual.
Kinda funny, these jerks assure us there will be climate change over the short term, while volcanos and earthquakes tear the earth apart round the world,,,,there may not be a ‘’short term’’ much less a long term, guess there’ll be pristine poverty for everyone.
POLAR ICE CAP: July 1, 1998 vs July 1, 2010
Note that the extent of the ice cap in these pictures show that in 1998 the extent was a bit greater in the lower and lower right of the picture compared to 2010. But the extent in 2010 to the left is greater than in 1998.
The key to this pciture is not the extent — which is affected by ocean currents (warm & cold) but rather the thickness of the ice. The ice thickness in July 2010 is MUCH thicker than in 1998.

UEA picks team, investigates themselves, and finds no problem. Hey what could be wrong with that. It’s like government grants given to people who support the government’s conclusions beforehand.
Maybe Bill ‘the dumb science guy’ would like to point out where Al Gore’s missing warm CO2 blanket circling the equator is hiding. Or explain the Stefan-Boltzmann reading about planet earth, which says global warming is just good old BS.
