What GOP circles? I doubt the establishment GOP would ever consider Sarah Palin. We think she’d be perfect but the establishment GOP...she scares them. HA

The RNC is more anti-Palin than the DNC.

Like Mr. B suggested on the “almost duplicate” thread,

Let Sarah decide Steele’s replacement when the position becomes available!

HAR!

No way! Not over this! This is Obamas chosen war. He and his asshole buddies ripped Bush over Iraq declaring this is the war we should be fighting. Now over half our casualties have come during Obama’s reign, it is his war. Biden is already trying to take credit for Iraq which is Bush's victory while Afghanistan is turning to shit.

I think it would be the best job for her for the next few years.

Heh... you'd like that, wouldn't you?

I'm afraid the Governor is aiming quite a bit higher than head of the RNC. Try not to be too disappointed when she gives the RNC job a pass.

At this point, not only would it be a dead end for Palin, it would be a trap. For now, she has a lot of freedom of movement. She can go wherever she wants and can endorse whomever she wants. She can earn a lot of money from speaker fees.

If she were to accept the chair of the RNC, she would be back where she started as Governor of Alaska. She would be a sitting duck for any mistake, however minor, that would be made by subordinates. She would be put in a position of always having to defend her decisions, instead of focusing on getting candidates elected.

CBS News Senior White House Correspondent Bill Plante reports there's talk in GOP circles that Sarah Palin should replace him.

That sentence right there should raise the red flags for Palin supporters. Bill Plante from CBS talking to RINOs.

Ooh, ‘talk in GOP circles’. What the heck does that mean? Other than the MSM and maybe some vichey Repubs want this out there. I’m sure Sarah will have no part of it. She’s doing fine on her own and doing her own thing. Without a GOP leash.

ITS A TRAP.
Once she is in there, look for stories about RNC staff going to strip clubs with your donations then the MSM will link it to incompetent management from Palin down.

TRAP.

I think an RNC head who has more star-power than the candidates she’s going to be supporting is a bad idea. The RNC head should be a competent spokesman for the GOP, as well as an effective manager, organizer and fund-raiser - not it’s most famous potential presidential candidate.

Sure, but why assign your best candidate to a desk job, and one that she would have to resign from in 6 months to run for Pres?

She is already the leader of the party without a title or duties. People aren’t waiting to hear Michael Steele’s opinion or following him on Facebook.

An RNC job would also cut into her personal war chest building effort. Many of us will donate for Sarah, but won’t go near the RNC for fear they will use our money against us.
