Priorities: NASA's chief says his mission is not to return us to space but to help the Muslim world feel good about its scientific contributions. The moon we should be landing on should not be crescent-shaped.
At a time when the only missile programs in the Arab world, namely in Syria and Iran, are aimed at hitting Israel with chemical, biological and nuclear weapons, NASA administrator Charles Bolden goes on Al Jazeera to tell the Muslim world his "foremost" goal was to make them feel good about their achievements in math, science and engineering.

Things like this boggle my mind. A friendly gesture toward a mixed-bag religion is ok in certain contexts, but this context is awful public relations.
Another mind boggler occurred in a speech by Obama few days ago when he said he was strengthing the Mexico border, and the example he gave was that all trains that run from America into Mexico are now being inspected.
Sharia law can make you feel real good!
Well, maybe those astronauts get lonely and need a goat on board and the Muslims can provide one who is stump broke.
For a President who still claims he isn’t a Muslim, why the focus on Muslims so much? Aren’t there plenty of other minorities and religions that have a worse time on Earth other than the religion of peace? Obama needs to go.

This was the blessed end for NASA. It was doomed anyway because we are broke. The moslems haven’t contributed squat. They are off my screen.
Does anyone else look at the moon and think, "Wow. That was our high-water mark. That's it for us."? Maybe it's just me; I'm not feeling real optimistic about the future.
The mohammadans in the future (if they are around) will claim they landed on the moon.
I can relate Islam to our space program quite easily. Islam is like space junk, best to avoid it before it cause serious and permanent damage.

I look at the moon with that in my heart all the time. The great men (no women no minorities) that went to the moon were great heroes until Armstrong said “one small step for man. one giant leap for mankind” This painful redundancy has echoed through history with an “Emperor has no clothes” lack of observation that he BLEW IT!! First he blew it by leaving out a word!! It was supposed to be (This is absolute fact) “One small step for “A” man. One giant leap for mankind” It made no sense and the idiots in the media covered it up and it is taught in schools by idiot teachers that don’t know better.
Second, Mankind didn’t pay for this expedition- Dammit!! To hell with “ mankind”. This was OUR MOON!! THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA MOON!~!. He should have said to the Russians and the world “I hereby claim this moon for AMERICA!!! Shut it down with the rest of what used to be a great country until we started the “one world “ crap.

Since the 15th century Muslims decided there was no such thing as “natural law” because Allah had no constraints over what he could do. So, there was no need to study science which can be undermined by the shifting sands of Allah’s caprices.
Why should these vicious, superstitious people be entrusted with our knowledge? They didn’t invent math, that is a big fat lie. They never built anything, they just tore down what Romans built and destroyed every church they could overcome even in recent history. Every marble Roman statue in Turkey has its head decapitated and its genitals hammered off.
