Glenn Beck starts online 'university'
politico ^ | 7/6/10 | Andy Barr

Fox News host Glenn Beck announced Tuesday that he has launched an online “academic program” teaching classes in “religion, American history and economics.”

“School may be out for the summer, but for Glenn Beck class is just starting,” reads an announcement on Beck’s website. “This July, while others are relaxing poolside, head back to the classroom — from the comfort of your own home. That may sound like an oxymoron, but Glenn’s new academic program is only available online.”

Many Presbyterians are talking like the Episcopalians a few years ago, split off and such.

Not exactly the act of sheep...

Um...Resty...that wasn’t an issue in the 1820’s. So therefore, to claim that PCUSA (the liberal Presbyterians not ALL Presbyterians) condoning gay marriage is what Smith said was ‘untrue’ about Presbyterianism is not only Presentism (a bane in historical circles) but just plain laughable.

EPIC EPIC FAIL there Resty.

Maybe it was a prophesy that actually came true.

(Reaganaut, many Lds can't help it. It's coated on throughout Mormonism. The Book of Mormon, after all, is filled with "presentism":
--the religious issues of the day...
...when to baptize;
...camp meeting styles of the 1820s popping up in the BoM;
...the love of quoting Shakespeare a few times;
...the line And because my words shall HISS forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A aBible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible' (2 Nephi 29:3) in supposedly 6th century B.C. when no "Bible" (based upon a Greek word) had been constructed and was 3-5 centuries before even a Greek translation of the OT existed!

(Oh, and don't you love the author of 2 Nephi 29 conceding "my words shall HISS forth"???...I think God made the snake-in-the-grass who appeared in Eden drop some truth-in-advertising hints along the way)

NO you missed the point than and also it is the same old story....

The Lord knows all from the beganning to the end and the Lord told Joseph as the Lord told others down through the ages!

Prov. 16: 21, 23
21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
• • •
23 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.

1 Sam. 1: 13
13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

Job 33: 3
3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

Ps. 12: 2
2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
Ps. 21: 2
2 Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
Prov. 15: 7
7 The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.
Prov. 22: 11
11 He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.
Prov. 24: 2
2 For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.

Prov. 26: 23
23 Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.

Isa. 29: 13
13 ¶ Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Matt. 15: 8
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Mark 7: 6
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

2 Ne. 27: 25
25 Forasmuch as this people draw near unto me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their hearts far from me, and their fear towards me is taught by the precepts of men—

JS-H 1: 19
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”

“The Lord knows all from the beganning to the end and the Lord told Joseph as the Lord told others down through the ages!’

Surely, you are not referring to the dishonest Joseph Smith
- charlatan, womanizer, vile person? All documented, by the
way.

Are those Bible versus translated correctly?
Are you saying that the mormon god told Joseph Smith that the Presbyterians would go off the reservation and ordain homosexual leaders?
Well, if that's true why didn't he just say so before he was shot in a gun battle. Really why did he keep it a secret.
