Are there any Freepers who know more about this "force"?
I did a search on all of FR, and nothing came up. Has there been discussions about this "force" on FR under some other name?
There is an article at Army Times about the "Consequence Management Response Force", but apparently they have threatened some kind of retaliation if the link is shown on FR.
Check out Seaspooks Rants. there is an article over there.
“Google” it. There is a wealth of information on this unit made up of 80,000 members to be deployed on American soil on orders from the president.
May the force be with you, you sure are on the wrong channel. Mr. Obi Wan
Yes there was discussion about this some time back on FR.
....what I want to find out is some links to FR discussions that I missed.
deterrence, prevention, preemption, crisis management, consequence management, attribution, retaliation
Had an interesting story related to me by an East Texan who personally knew the victims:
When the Space Shuttle Columbia broke up in the atmosphere, some of the wreckage came down on a wooded area in East Texas. Some of the residents rushed out and started taking photos. They said there were parts of bodies hanging in the trees along with smoking/burning wreckage.
Suddenly, several Humvees arrived on scene and some guys got out who were dressed like they came off the set of Stargate. They were well armed and pointed their weapons at the locals. The black-clad warriors proceeded to confiscate all cameras and phones. They then ordered the residents to depart (some of them OWNED the land where the crash debris hit), and told them, “You will lose your farm if you talk to the media about this”.
Since NASA does not keep a SWAT unit on staff, I have always wondered what Agency those warriors could possibly have been with.
Never related this story before today. My source acted like he was scared to tell me.
Sorry, I misunderstood...
...all I want is a link to a past FR discussion, why is that on the "wrong channel"?
....if not here, where?....
Thanks for the help.....
consequence management - (DOD Dictionary) Those measures taken to protect public health and safety, restore essential government services, and provide emergency relief to governments, businesses, and individuals affected by the consequences of a chemical, biological, nuclear, and/or high-yield explosive situation. For domestic consequence management, the primary authority rests with the States to respond and the Federal Government to provide assistance as required. Also called CM. See also nuclear, biological, and chemical defense.
Good grief, chill out. I read your earlier post and didn’t see your humor either. Sometimes that happens. Move on.
I "googled" it......what I want to find out is some links to FR discussions that I missed.
If you used the FR search for this, unfortunately, it's worthless for something like this.
