I couldn’t have said it better, I really believe you are right. Part of what you describe is what I call “willful ignorance”, the steadfast refusal to see what should be obvious. Carried to extremes it results in cultural insanity engulfing entire nations and manifesting in practices like the footbinding that used to be done in China. A person has to expend a great deal of energy in buying into that sort of insanity and once they do they cannot afford to ever face the truth. Simple things help sanity too, like nutrition, sleep, not getting high. Avoiding isolation, having spouses, family, friends. We have a neighbor who is far less “crazy” than she used to be just because her brother moved in with her. A relationship with God, spiritual disciplines matter to sanity. Bundle all that together with the habits of the mind that I was talking about earlier and that’s sort of my nascent view of insanity. I know I’m right to some degree . . . just don’t know the degree.

6. Any School Administrator, Teacher, Hall Monitor, Yard Duty Teacher, School Police Officer or School Security Guard will be allowed to use all means necessary to stop a school shooter.

7. Any CONVICTED school shooter who injures and/or kills a person on or around a school campus will receive the death penalty ASAP.

8. Any convicted school shooter who has officially received THE DEATH PENALTY will be put to death immediately.

9. No excuses are acceptable for school shootings.

10. Parents will be told that there are other viable alternatives to “public education” such as home schooling and private schools.

Thanks for reminding me of disinformation and Yuri Bezmenov. Now if the Soviets had the power to create such absolute brainwashing in a population they would still be in power . . . so . . . Bezmenov gets that it is “irreversible” and “complete” wrong! I think it’s the “biggest lie” that Satan ever told that holds liberals back . . . remember that phrase that the biggest lie Satan tells is that he doesn’t exist? . . . The libs don’t know Satan (in this case disinformation and brainwashing on THEM) . . . they don’t know it exists. Nothing is complete and irreversible when it comes to the human mind! We are flexible.

Not to discount in any way what Bezmenov said or its importance, or even the difficulty of overcoming it.
