A LOT of people are thinking the same as you madison 10. Every single day with this president is another nail-biter because none of us know from day to day what he's going to foist upon us in the name of his presidency. IMHO if Americans had an opportunity to verify they wanted to continue with a president half-way through his/her term, this would be THE ONE where a rejection would occur.

Obama's fast-tracking is downright frightening and contrary to what Americans expect of their leader (ie Healthcare). The slow and tepid response he's shown regarding the Gulf Oil spillage is polar opposite everything else he's attempted to foist upon us. Something is puzzling about the lack of expedience we've seen so far on this spillage when we know the modus operendi for this administration has been the complete opposite with just about everything else since dems took office.
