Last night, as part of a procedural vote on the emergency war supplemental bill, House Democrats attached a document that deemed as passed a non-existent $1.12 trillion budget. The execution of the deeming document allows Democrats to start spending money for Fiscal Year 2011 without the pesky constraints of a budget.
The procedural vote passed 215-210 with no Republicans voting in favor and 38 Democrats crossing the aisle to vote against deeming the faux budget resolution passed.
Never before -- since the creation of the Congressional budget process -- has the House failed to pass a budget, failed to propose a budget then deemed the non-existent budget as passed as a means to avoid a direct, recorded vote on a budget, but still allow Congress to spend taxpayer money.
House Budget Committee Ranking Member Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) warned this was the green light for Democrats to continue their out-of-control spending virtually unchecked.
Facing a record deficit and a tidal wave of debt, House Democrats decided it was politically inconvenient to put forward a budget and account for their fiscal recklessness. With no priorities and no restraints, the spending, taxing, and borrowing will continue unchecked for the coming fiscal year, Ryan said. The so-called budget enforcement resolution enforces no budget, but instead provides a green light for the Appropriators to continue spending, exacerbating our looming fiscal crisis.

On June 30, the Federal EPA cancelled the operating permits for over 125 refineries & chemical plants in Texas. They have been operating over 16 years on Texas EPA permits & all the air tests in Texas show improvement.
This is another power play on the part of NObama. Keep the oil spill going & shut down refineries.
Those refineries in Texas represent over 33% of all the DAILY fuel production in the USA. How long before the price of gasoline is approaching the $7 or $9 a gallon that NObama desires to keep us from driving?
These GOP morons are the most incompetent crop of blue blood country club degenerates in US history.
I’m sure the DOJ will be on top of this unconstitutional act.
“Our votes mean NOTHING.”
Post of the day.
i believe it is now time for the use of the word “overthrow”
Cass Sunstein - use regulation for agenda.
I’m seriously considering deeming my taxes as having been paid.
No taxation without representation.
They will let an illegal out to make room for you.
If it were possible, the entire ‘rat party en-masse should be tried for treason, found guilty, and hung.
“Who are the 10 congresscritters that didnt vote on something this important to the American people?”

And every republican in congress should be SCREAMING this fact to the American public. FOX will be the only network to report it accurately, if at all and the republican party should have a representative on the network 24/7 for the next week at least. But don’t BANK on this happening. Mitchie the Kid McConnell will be too busy hiding under his desk as usual. And any republican who DOES step up will undoubtedly be attacked by OTHER REPUBLICANS for being non-bipartisan!!!
They can deem that they voted. The beauty of it is they can deem they voted yes or no depending on who they are talking to.
Seems like the rest of the party has been taken over by Obama Marxist progressives.
No rat crossed any aisle here. Actually, its 38 coward 'rats that are concerned about November, likely just as guilty as any other, but no cajones to vote with the rest of the rats (or given the pelosi pass to vote NO).
I “ deem “ it necessary that the Sgt. at Arms arrest every Democrat in the House & Senate.
The charge?
“Associating with undesirables”
Words fail me and any that I might wish to type would cause a visit from various authorities.
