And here I thought that passage of comprehensive immigration reform hinged on the 2006 Secure Fence bill ... Which we now is as big a scam as was the 1986 Reagan AMNESTY scam.

So how many times are we going to fall for this?

Obowma wants open borders and probably wants open citizenship so he can qualify too.

I guarantee you the Dems in congress will not go near immigration reform. This is pure politics on Obama's part. If they pass an amnesty bill they will lose a minimum of a 100 seats in the house.

Can we frame that quote and have it posted in front of every polling booth in November?

Gibbs says passage of immigration reform hinges on GOP

The Obama gang has to be the most transparent in anyone's memory, that is the most transparently obvious and absurd in their attempt to pre-blame the GOP for not passing something 70% or more of American citizens don't want.

Let's just hope not many weak kneed Republicans are spooked by this ploy, and that they don't fall for it. But how many of them ever realized how much the year-after-year Bush/Rove amnesty push damaged the party between 2004 and 2008? They need to stand strong against amnesty and do what 70% of citizens want.

The GOP does not want to be the party of Illegal Alien Amnesty. As much as liberal elements of the party, driven by Hispanic Hate Groups like La Raza, MEChA, and others....the GOP rank-and-file know it is political suicide to support any form of Illegal Alien Amnesty.

10,000,000 newly-minted Democratic voters. Gibbs wants to keep working in DC past 2012.

No it doesn’t Gibbs. You commies can pass it tomorrow and the GOP could not stop it.

Sometimes being the majority sucks. But we all know you want to blame it on the GOP.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said that the Senate could pass comprehensive immigration reform legislation if Republicans Goober Graham would cooperate.

The Republican party demise and the rise of the Tea Party did not start with the Obama bailouts and the Santelli rant on CNN in February 2009.

It started in 2006-2007 when against the wishes of nearly all the Republican base (but NOT the elite RINO leadership) Bush, Rove, McCain, and Graham tried to jam amnesty down the throats of Americans.

“See you at the signing” gloated Bush. “You hate brown people” scolded Rove. “We’ll shut up the bigots” said Lindsey Lightloafer. And McCain paired up with Teddy Kennedy to make 20 million new democrat voters out of criminal illegal aliens.

That’s when the revolt started, when the American conservative majority which normally found refuge in the remnants of the Reagan Republican Party realized that no one was now looking out for them. That’s when millions of just average Americans melted down the switchboards on Capitol Hill and scared even some democrats to back off the amnesty obsession.

Everything that happened since then to pull the gift of political power from the Republicans - TARP, bailouts, spending, earmarks, pork - just made the Republican Party fall even farther from voter favor. The Tea Party was the refuge for those who saw the government no longer represented them, and the last suitor they trusted -Republicans - had dumped them.

The only hope that Republicans have to return to power is learn from their mistakes and arrogance. But already too many of them are on the cusp to return to their bad habits of ignoring the will of the people, and the immigration amnesty bill be their test. And Obama is counting on them to fall for the cheap labor siren calls of the Wall Street Journal and the Chamber of Commerce to help him get his amnesty.

If even ONE Republican supports Obama’s amnesty plan, those same people they betrayed before will turn on them again and they can kiss the majority good-bye.

That’s all it will take - just ONE McCain, Graham, Snowe, Brown, Flake, to support Obama’s amnesty and the Republican masquerade will be exposed.
