Come on, we ALL know that hell awaits anyone who dies in a state of unrepentant mortal sin. Objectively, being an accessory/enabler of cold-blooded murder (in this case, abortion) is just that kind of sin.

Subjectively we don't know if she's mentally engaged enough to commit this sin with full intention and knowledge. She might be mentally incompetent or delusional, who knows? She also might repent before the end --- and for this we can all pray.

But warning people of the fact that evil has eternal consequences, is an act of mercy. Just like warning somebody --- with a certain amount of urgency---that the dark road they're on ends in a 500-ft cliff.

The woman might be delusional or otherwise incompetent, but she DOES NOT seem to have any sort of intellectual handicap that would prevent her from understanding the topic.

Realistically, wags, what you say is true. She does not seem to show over-all intellectual retardation.

And for your benefit, sabe@q.com, I would like to clarify just exactly the kind of judging we are allowed --- even required --- to do. We must judge:

We judge these things all the time. This is part of our moral duty.

What we cannot judge, are souls--- because we cannot see souls: soul-knowledge is knowledge for God alone. We can in some instances confidently state that a person is in heaven (that's what "canonization" is all about, and it involves a testimony from heaven in the form of a miracle); there is NO corresponding earthly process of "demonization." We can't name for sure one person who is certainly in hell; I've heard tell you can't say that even of Judas.

Ultimately, said Harth, a woman has a right to abort because she “has a right to have a good life” and she does not have “the right to ruin it.” “And if a pregnancy is going to ruin her life in any way, she has a right to get the abortion. She has the right. She has an obligation to protect her life from being ruined. ... Because you owe this respect to yourself because you're a child of God. You should feel guilty if you don't,” she said.

***

She said it -

IF any human being “Ruins YOUR life in ANY way” you have a right to terminate it —— That is what they believe.

It was never about the other person. They could care less. It was always about themselves, serving themselves and doing what was best for self.

OMG I wish some of these pro abort people would be sitting where I am right now. I’m sitting in my parish parking lot waiting for my girls who are working VBS. There are 300 kids this year. Moms are walking by, pregnant and pushing double strollers. The pro aborts heads would explode!!!

Isaiah 5:20 applies -
Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.

settle down metmom... perhaps this... uh... “person” meant “creature” as an insult to the unborn,

but by definition, we all are the created creatures, and He is the Creator.

That’s one of the basic tenets of defining our relationship to God. We are creatures, imageo dei.

Yeah, I’ve been noticing some “askance” looks when our family is out. We have 3 + 1 obviously on the way.

From the mouth of one of Satan's mouthpieces:

"If you have an abortion, there is a fetus that will be killed. No way. This is true. But ... for us, death is not the end of the story," said Harth. "And this unborn child or fetus or whatever you want to call it is ... well, we do not know what God is going to do with this creature. God has a lot of mercy, maybe...we don't know."

~~~~~~~~~
Yes, we DO know -- from the mouth of Jesus, Himself:
Mark 10:14 Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God.
Mt 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
Mt 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
Mt 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Holy Spirit enlighten her so that she may repent for promoting Mortal Sin by Breaking the 5th Commandment “Thou shall not Kill”.
Excellent Scriptures.
I wish the abortion-enthusiasts would keep in mind this dreadful truth, told us by the Eternal Lord of Heaven and Earth:
"Inasmuch as you did it to one of these, the least of My brethren, you did it to Me."
I would say that she needs help, but someone who says such a thing is beyond help, obviously.
