I don’t agree with Christie on the immigration issue. I don’t believe that there is any need to offer citizenship to lawbreakers.

To me “demagoguery” is when Christie calls Amnesty a “path to citizenship”.
I love the guy as governor of NJ, but NJ is not AZ and he might want to meet with Ms. Brewer before spouting off on the subject.

I don’t know how to post this chart properly. But in case anyone is wondering how many amigos from Mexico we took into this country, it appears that in 1929 we took about 70,000.
I’ll leave it to you to note how many were admitted as we entered into the Great Depression, as demonstrated by the chart (Document 1-A, Part 1).
That should tell you all you need to know about this president who is attempting to legalize millions of illegal immigrants...during OUR Depression.

I have to echo and offer thanks to my fellow FReepers here on their perspective on illegal criminal activity being described as "immigration". It can be difficult to understand the gravity and true nature of the disaster of this situation unless you are here and it surrounds you every day.
I think meeting personally and discussing the situation with Governor Brewer would have been the wise decision here. Anything outside of that is posturing and not in a good way. We need allies who are willing to work with us to resolve this situation. Not make it more difficult for the people of Arizona to protect their very lives from this disaster.

saving our American culture from a barbarian invasion!!!!NO "amnesty"! DEPORT all illegals! Pass tough new immigration laws with national quotas that sharply restrict Third World immigration. Make assimilation of existing legal Third World immigrants a cornerstone of our social policy (i.e., English is our language).
Support Arizona! Let's have at least several other states pass Arizona-style immigration laws THIS YEAR, and give Barack Hussein obama a war with the states that he can only lose!!!!
