President Obama on controlling the debt: "Somehow people say, why are you doing that, I'm not sure that's good politics. I'm doing it because I said I was going to do it and I think it's the right thing to do. People should learn that lesson about me because next year when I start presenting some very difficult choices to the country, I hope some of these folks who are hollering about deficits and debt step-up because I'm calling their bluff. We'll see how much of that, how much of the political arguments that they're making right now are real and how much of it was just politics."

The more I think about this idiot’s demands that we pay for the very programs that we didn’t want, the madder I get. The contempt he displays for the opposition (us) is returned tenfold.
This year will be the last good year for our business as I’m going to take a break for a while. What are they going to do? Make me work harder? I’m debt free and suffer from affluenza.
Oh that cat!...one of a litter that we shall see. This guys going on a roll up ahead and thinks nothing can or will step in his way. Slow him down? Possibly, but he’s going steam-rolling. He’s made it clear it’s the ‘I’man against We the people.
An absolute idiot who hasn’t a clue about balancing a budget. What a doofus and I hope the Republicans run that statement a million times this fall to remind the people of what he WANTS to do to us unless we get our people elected to stop the madness and spending us into the poor house.
"Either gimme a VAT, or we'll have to take your 401k's."
~Pres. Obama
He did say that he's giving us tough CHOICES, not just tough-to-accept plans
>Hes moving to decimate our military. Everyone living in Republican congressional districts with military bases should get prepared. Hes going to try to shut down as many as he can in the name of fiscal responsibility.
In some ways in might be better if he did formally dissolve the Active-Duty Armed Forces branches, the Founding Fathers did NOT want a standing Army which is why they limited the funding/budgeting of the Army to every two years. In such a case, were I the President, I would say “there have been record gun and ammo sales the past few years... let them [the people] use them [for defense/militia-duties]” and let that be that. {Remember that prior to World War II* there was NO standing army.} — *It might have been WWI.
However, it’s the half-measure that scares me; imagine cutting the Armed forces to a quarter of their budget/size and demanding that they do all that they’re doing now.
Or he threatens to become even dumber when Republicans take Congress?
Well yes. Tax increases are one method of reducing deficits. We naturally think spend less first but he will throw everything into the mix to show how serious he is.
Why wait until next year? Why not go ahead and recommend your tax increases today so you and all of the other dems can campaign on them the next four months before the election?
He is supernaturally evil. His minions will share the fate of Korach..
Congress is digging their own sinkhole/abyss. The meek will inherit the earth, but not before they stand on the edge, kick these slimeballs in, and wave bye-bye.
But what does “hitting the wall” look like for a POTUS?
There are no good scenarios, here.
The problem will be what will he use next to offset his demise? I am thinking Iran or Korea will shake things.
I’m really beginning to wonder what happens if even the president’s inner circle becomes convinced that he is dangerously not right in the head.
I know Nixon’s inner circle had some concerns about his mental health.
But the Rats have such poor judgment in EVERYTHING, and are so little influenced by a robust view of what is truly right for the country, that I have no confidence any problem will be handled well.

Oh, boy. So DISCLOSE and giant stimulii packages and Financial reining in and his new internet powers and plethora of 'little' changes raising taxes and challenging our long standing freedoms were just a gentle warm-up? Oh boy. (and still wondering where the new jobs from the stimulii are...)
I absolutely agree with no confidence in either Bo nor his administration. But I don’t think they even have any confidence in how they are advising BO on the affairs of this country. They are all in over their heads and they know it...so the most we can expect is the smokescreen and the lies and the deceptions...while they push their agenda just the same.
Bo said he would change the face of this country...and by golly he is and will continue to do so regardless of the disasters that hit or that he creates. We are simply collateral damage.
