Another reason a malignant narcissist can turn on you like a snake is the way they look at people. They have zero loyalty, and see every person in only black and white terms. A person is the latter if they are one-hundred percent committed to the narcissist, praising his every move and backing him to the hilt. If this same person dares to offer even a mild rebuke, however, he/she is immediately flipped into the ‘black’ category and is seen and treated like an enemy. As such, the narcissist will try to destroy him/her.
Narcissists are vicious people with no brakes at all. I suspect Rahm has run afoul of The Won somehow, hence the rumors he is leaving the WH. No one can worship a fellow human all the time, so almost everyone gets tossed into the enemy camp sooner or later.
