TORONTO Police raided a university building and rounded up more protesters Sunday in an effort to quell further violence at the global economic summit after black-clad youths rampaged through the city, smashing windows and torching police cruisers.
Police said they have arrested more than 500 demonstrators, many of whom were hauled away in plastic handcuffs and taken to a temporary holding center constructed for the summit.....

“Police raided a university building and rounded up more protesters”
That is a story in of itself. Most of us here on FR have a pretty good idea of what is being taught in our Colleges and Universities these days.

It’s ALWAYS the leftwing radicals that engage in violent demonstrations.

I was going to say I bet that mommy and daddy are po’ed about the misuse of their thousands of bucks in college tuition payments, but the person in the photo looks too old to be a student. Perhaps a professor? Perhaps one of the free-floating bands of leftist nutcases that are allowed to hang out around universities nowadays?

That’s right. Precisely, and then they blame the Conservatives for causing them to have to resort to such violence.
To the Left the end justifies the means. They feel (NOT think) that they are justified in their violence, their pack mentality, their animalistic actions to get what it is that they want. Laws, commonsense all go out the window if they “feel” they can win something by being loud, and violent.

I read the article at the link.
Seems the protesters were protesting their ‘hotel’ accomodations. Apparently they had made reservations at the new detention center, since police seemed to know exactly who and how many were coming.

Spray'em down with that purple dye used in the Iraqi elections, then you'll be able to arrest the ones you missed for a couple of weeks after the riots.
To most of these freaks, getting arrested is their badge of accomplishment, hoping for the slightest hint of "police brutality" so they can sue.
As Rush often says, in all things, "Follow the money".

I’d say more like 200 million killed in the name of socialism in just the 20th century alone = esp if you include the abortion/infanticide.
