The Obama administration has announced its appointment of 13 White House fellows – and the first person featured on its short list is a Muslim attorney who specializes in Shariah-compliant transactions.
"This year's White House fellows are comprised of some of the best and brightest leaders in our country," Michelle Obama said in the June 22 announcement. "I applaud their unyielding commitment to public service and dedication to serving their community."
"Our team members are at the forefront of developments in the Islamic finance industry," Hogan Lovells boasts. "We help set standards for the sector. We have also advised on numerous first-of-their-kind transactions, such as the first convertible Sukuk, the first equity-linked Sukuk, the first Sharia-compliant securitization, the first international Sukuk al-mudaraba and Sukuk al-musharaka, the first Sukuk buy-back, and the first Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) guaranteed Islamic project financing."

"In his July 2008 essay, "Financial Jihad: What Americans Need to Know," Vice President Christopher Holton of the Center for Security Policy wrote, "America is losing the financial war on terror because Wall Street is embracing a subversive enemy ideology on one hand and providing corporate life support to state sponsors of terrorism on the other hand."
Holton referred to Islamic finance, or "Shariah-Compliant Finance" as a "modern-day Trojan horse" infiltrating the U.S. He said it poses a threat to the U.S. because it seeks to legitimize Shariah – a man-made medieval doctrine that regulates every aspect of life for Muslims – and could ultimately change American life and laws.
Tenets of Shariah
In his essay, "Islamic Finance or Financing Islamism," Alex Alexiev outlined the following tenets of Shariah taken from "The Reliance of the Traveler: The Classic Manual of Sacred Law":
A woman is eligible for only half of the inheritance of a man A virgin may be married against her will by her father or grandfather A woman may not leave the house without her husband's permission A Muslim man may marry four women, including Christians and Jews; a Muslim woman can only marry a Muslim Beating an insubordinate wife is permissible Female sexual mutilation is obligatory Adultery [or the perception of adultery] is punished by death by stoning Offensive, military jihad against non-Muslims is a religious obligation Apostasy from Islam is punishable by death without trial Lying to infidels in time of jihad is permissible"

How does Wall Street not see the disconnect between what it does and Shariah Compliant Finance? Have they hired him to navigate the waters when dealing with Shariah Compliant companies? I hope that's all.

At the rate this country is being destroyed, don’t be too sure. Happening in Oklahoma right now - a muslim is trying to include Sharia law into court rulings...now I can’t believe that will ever be allowed to happen in Oklahoma, probably because of the low % of muslims in the state, but what about other areas of the country...And then again I can’t believe what has already happened in our country .....scary heart-stopping times still ahead.
When I’m President, I’ll see Islam outlawed in this country on the easy-to-prove basis that it is a sick death cult, not a religion, and therefore not subject to protection under the 1st Amendment.
Maybe not now, but the Islamization of America is fully underway and is expected to completed by 2020.
Eventually it will take over the United States is we do not start to see Islam for what it truly is. Islam is a political ideology, a way of life that is cloaked in a deceptive facade of religion.
It is our nation's freedom that incubates and nurtures Islam regardless of how deceptive or nefarious it may be. All Americans both from the left and right consider freedom to practice one's own religion as a fundamental human right and our adversaries know this.
The only way that America and the West will ever accomodate Islam and multiculturalism for that matter is to curtail our our own freedoms.
Imagine for a moment that Nazism was not just a political ideology but a religion and Hitler was not just a political figure but a spiritual leader as well perhaps a living deity. Would we have been able to defeat Nazism or would we be forced to accomodate it.
The answer became painfully clear for me on the 12th of May in 2005 when Condoleeza Rice stated...

It was at that moment that I realized that our nation's leaders were prepared to sacrifice our freedom for security and that all our forefathers fought and died for was in vain.
As a free man, and of us, a free people, How is it that Condoleeza Rice could call upon us to respect and revere a book that calls for our death or enslavement. A book that is not only used an instrument of faith, but a book that serves as the Constitution and the law of countries that prohibit liberty and freedom??
The reality is that our brave soldiers are no longer fighting and sacrificing their lives for our freedom and liberty, but for diversity, respect, tolerance and "politcal correctness".

This is not the first time that we have faced fascism and totalitarism it won't be the last. In the past we have had the courage and the resolve to stand firm in our beliefs and not allow ourselves to be intimidated or threatened. In the days ahead we must find that courage once again to stand firm. One of the most sacred principles of the United States is the fundamental right to freedom of expression. It is what we fight for.
